While Sarah Hyland played the older sibling of Ariel Winter‘s character while the two were on “Modern Family,” the actress, Disney star and Broadway performer has a best friend who is like a real-life sister.
That’s why she has just shared a social media post dedicated to her BFF that sees the two visiting dreamy destinations, sharing lots of laughs and wearing stunning bikinis while looking absolutely incredible.

On Tuesday, September 1, Hyland hopped onto Intagram to share a post that celebrated her longtime bestie, Ciara Robinson. In the caption, the star wrote, “Happy birthday to my best friend and sister for life!! It’s been more than 10 years of growing up, growing together, laughing until we cry, crying until we laugh, and being there for every version of each other along the way.”
Hyland also shared a collection of photos with her post that showed herself and Robinson spending time together by the water, on a beach and in a pool, as well as hanging out with other friends as the Eiffel Tower can be seen in the background.
While some pics show them in chic dresses and casual outfits, others see the duo in fabulous bikinis. Whatever they’re wearing, in each image, the pair appear to be having a blast while in each other’s company.
“There are very few people in life who get to know you through so many chapters and somehow feel even more like home with every one,” Hyland continued her message to her best friend. “I’m so lucky to have you in my life and am so proud of everything you’ve accomplished! Happy birthday to my forever sister!!! 💋”
Sarah & Ciara Share their Special Bond with the World
While Hyland has celebrated Robinson’s big day, the star’s bestie is sure to do the same when it’s time to mark special occasions related to the actress.
For instance, back on November 24, 2023, Robinson shared an Instagram post that featured photos of the fun-loving duo and added a caption, writing, “happy 33rd birthday to my best friend!! no matter what, through thick and thin, you’re simply the best. i love you so much- truly couldn’t have asked for a better sister in this lifetime 🤍🤍”
Robinson also made sure to celebrate Hyland in November of last year, again popping up an Instagram post that shows how the two spend their time together traveling, partying and generally appreciating each other.
She also wrote, “I think in life we have multiple soulmates and there’s the kind of connections that change you and stay with you forever. To my best friend and sister, i’m grateful everyday for you ESPECIALLY on your birthday! Couldn’t be prouder of all you’ve accomplished in the last decade and I’m ready to be amazed by the next! Happiest birthday Sarah🤍🤍”
As for the last decade that Robinson mentioned in her post, the past 10 years have seen Robinson both host Hyland’s bridal shower in 2022 and act as the star’s maid of honor in August of that same year when she married “Bachelor” nation alum, Wells Adams, which is another major event that Hyland has recently celebrated.
Sarah Recently Marked Her Fourth Wedding Anniversary
Back on August 20, 2022, Hyland and Wells tied the knot during an outdoor ceremony near Santa Barbara, California, according to People. The wedding came years after she first developed a crush on him when he appeared on Season 12 of “The Bachelorette” in 2016.
Robinson was obviously present at the wedding, as were the actress’ “Modern Family” costars Nolan Gould, Sofia Vergara, Julie Bowen and Jesse Tyler Ferguson, who brought along his husband and Hyland’s friend, Justin Mikita.
Hyland just marked her fourth anniversary with an Instagram post, writing a touching message to her husband, saying, “You’re the person who makes me laugh harder, smile bigger, and find joy in the mundane. Life with you is my favorite kind of fun. You fill our home, our marriage, and my life with so much love, happiness, and tacos. You’re my best friend and I’d choose you in every lifetime…”
