The prestigious fashion event’s theme this year is celebrating “Costume Art,” and the “Nine Perfect Strangers” actress looked so beautiful in a slim-fitted red sequined gown, complete with feather details around her waist and on the sleeves.

Kidman wore her hair straight and loose, and kept her makeup natural, instead letting her dress make the statement. Photos from the red carpet show her having an incredible time interacting with other attendees, including Vogue’s former editor-in-chief, Anna Wintour.

Many people felt blindsided by their split, as the couple, who share two teenage daughters, appeared so happy. They finalized their divorce in January 2026, and Kidman has made several public appearances since.

In an October 2025 interview with Harper’s Bazaar, she was asked about the age she feels, to which she responded, “Sometimes I feel like I’m really, really, really old because I’ve had so many life experiences. And then other times I feel like I’m still a little girl, like suddenly I feel like I’m five. I think there’s a sense of play that always feels available to me…I love dancing, playing, and being silly.”
In the interview, she spoke about her desire to pass on the knowledge she had gained. “As I get older, I want to be able to share and impart the things I’ve learned,” she said. “I’ve seen a lot, I’ve experienced a lot, and I’ve survived a lot.” The star also opened up about learning to love aspects of her appearance, such as her “fair skin” and her height, features she had previously disliked.
“I’m lucky to be tall and I have so much leeway with what I eat because there’s so many more places for it to go,” she said. “There’s not a small gene in our family. I mean, we are all giants. My daughters are both 5’10”, my sister is 5’11”, I’m 5’11”… I used to grapple with that and kind of twist my hip down and pretend I was smaller. Now, I put my shoulders back, and I stand up, and I just own it.”
