Away from the spotlight, Kelly recently celebrated a personal milestone.
The actor marked three years of marriage with his wife, Syd Widziszewski-Kelly, sharing a heartfelt tribute on social media.
“Happy anniversary, my Queen. 3 years ago you made me feel complete,” he wrote. “You have filled my life full of love, support and a happiness that I never knew possible.”
He added, “I am beyond grateful to grow a family with you and look forward to doing this all over again in our next lives. I love you eternally. X.”
The couple welcomed their first child earlier this year, a moment Kelly has described as both challenging and deeply rewarding.
Kelly confirmed during a February 2026 appearance on “The Kelly Clarkson Show” that he and his wife had welcomed their child.
Balancing Fatherhood and a Breakout Career
Kelly has spoken openly about the changes that came with becoming a parent while navigating a busy career.
Despite the demands, he described the experience in heartfelt terms, calling it “the most magical experience” and adding that he “couldn’t be happier.”
His journey into fatherhood coincided with key moments in his career, including landing his breakout role and completing filming for the series.
Reflecting on that time, Kelly recalled a significant turning point.
“I do the Zoom, and right before we’re about to go for dinner for our second wedding anniversary, she tells me we’re pregnant.”
The 37-year-old spoke with People at a recent FYC event in New York City, where he reflected on navigating the show’s success while adjusting to life at home.
“I cannot speak more highly about my wife and just like the support that she has [given me]…becoming a father during this crazy whirlwind [time] is definitely not without its challenges,” Kelly said.
He added that despite the demands, the experience has been deeply grounding. “But the moment I’m home, I’m just present and in dad mode and changing diapers and cleaning up puke and all the good stuff that comes along with it,” he continued. “But it is the most magical experience, and I couldn’t be happier.”
