Ahead of the ceremony, Taylor teased her Oscars look during an interview with Variety, and it sounds like the moment was already hitting her emotionally.
“I was nearly in tears. It’s so good. My final fitting is on Thursday. It’s so major. I can’t wait for you to see it.”
Yep, you read that right. Even Taylor herself seemed blown away by the final result.
She also opened up about what the entire awards season experience has meant to her personally.
“I am so nervous. I’m realizing this is about to come to an end and I really had a blast. There are all the friendships I made and all the beautiful people that I’ve enjoyed running into all awards season. I’m going to miss everybody. This whole journey has been so beautiful. I don’t take any of this for granted.”
That kind of gratitude has been a theme for Taylor this year. After all, she’s been everywhere during awards season mostly turning heads with bold, creative looks that show off her signature style.
