Victoria Beckham may be the fashion designer in the family, but she is not above taking inspiration from her daughter.
The former Spice Girl stepped out in a brown satin dress during a family vacation in St. Tropez, wearing a look similar to one Harper Beckham previously selected from her mother’s label. Talk about style here!
Victoria wore the flowing brown dress while heading into St. Tropez with her family on August 7.
According to the Daily Mail, the 52-year-old designer selected the piece from her own fashion brand.
The lightweight satin and relaxed silhouette made the dress appropriate for the French Riviera while maintaining Victoria’s polished aesthetic.
She paired it with cream kitten heels, oversized sunglasses and a wide-brimmed straw sunhat.
Victoria wore her brown hair down and chose a natural beauty look for the afternoon outing.
Harper Wore a Similar Look First
The ensemble resembled a chocolate-brown satin gown Harper wore while supporting her mother at Paris Fashion Week in March 2025.
Harper styled her floor-length dress with white slip-on heels, a matching brown clutch and delicate jewelry. She wore her long blonde hair in loose waves.
The teenager has regularly worn dresses from Victoria’s label to family celebrations and fashion events.
Victoria and Harper have also shared and coordinated looks, turning their wardrobes into an extension of their close mother-daughter relationship.
A Family Afternoon in St. Tropez
Victoria was joined by husband David Beckham, son Romeo Beckham and Romeo’s girlfriend, Kim Turnbull.
While Victoria dressed up for the outing, David chose a casual all-black ensemble consisting of a T-shirt, athletic shorts and a backward baseball cap.
Romeo wore gray track shorts, a white T-shirt and sneakers. Kim kept her outfit simple with a black tank top and her hair pulled away from her face.
The satin dress is one of several memorable outfits Victoria has worn during the family’s Mediterranean vacation.
Earlier in the trip, she wore a nude bikini decorated with gold stars beneath a sheer brown cover-up. She completed that look with another oversized straw hat and dark sunglasses.
Victoria has also worn black bikinis, flowing dresses and coordinated accessories while spending time aboard the yacht.
For a dinner near Pampelonne Beach, she selected a deep burgundy satin gown from her own label. The design featured a fitted bodice, high scoop neckline and long skirt with a slight train.
A Shared Love of Fashion
Harper, 15, has developed her own interest in fashion and beauty while attending her mother’s runway shows and industry events.
She has worn Victoria Beckham designs in pink, red, black, blue and neutral shades. Satin slip dresses have become one of her signature styles.
Victoria has also shared clothes with friends and family. She recently lent former Spice Girls bandmate Melanie “Mel C” Chisholm a dress for her wedding after the singer’s original gown did not fit as expected.
Although Victoria continues to influence Harper’s wardrobe, her St. Tropez outfit proved that fashion inspiration can move in both directions.
