Victoria’s Secret angel Alessandra Ambrosio announced her engagement on Tuesday, August 11. The Brazilian supermodel took to Instagram to share her happy news after jewelry designer Buck Palmer asked her to marry him.

In the first photos, Ambrosio is standing on the beach in a bikini, embracing Palmer. The couple is surrounded by red rose petals that make a heart shape. Other photos show Palmer getting down on one knee; the couple also showed off their matching heart-shaped tattoos, inked on the sides of their wrists. There is also a picture of Ambrosio excitedly jumping into Palmer’s arms, and a video clip shows them lying in the sand waving to the camera.
It looked like the perfect way to propose, and Ambrosio shared her joy in the caption. “I’d choose you in this life and every life. Here’s to forever, my love,” she wrote.

Ambrosio and Palmer have been dating for two years and appear to be incredibly happy and in love. When they are spotted at rare public outings or at red-carpet events, they always look content.
The model has given a glimpse into their coupling with sweet posts on Instagram. Including one on December 16, 2024, in celebration of Palmer’s birthday. The video montage shows some of the many activities and experiences they had shared. The couple had gone Instagram official just one month earlier, in November 2024.
On January 2, 2025, Ambrosio celebrated the new year alongside Palmer and shared a collection of loved-up photos.
“First sunrise of 2025 to bring in the new year, left the party to enjoy a special moment witnessing nature put on a show for just the two of us… magic!,” she wrote in the caption on Instagram.
Fans showed their support for their relationship in the comments. “Love is a beautiful thing,” a comment reads. “Love this. See you two soon,” another person wrote.
In a March 2025 interview with Us Weekly, Ambrosio spoke about her relationship. “We just love life to the fullest,” she said. “We love living life and spending time together and enjoying every little thing. This is the second engagement for Ambrosio, who was engaged to businessman Jamie Mazur from 2008 to 2018, People reports. The former couple has two children, a daughter, Anja, and a son, Noah. Palmer has been previously married to Ashley Hart, the sister of model Jessica Hart. They were married for two years from 2015 to 2017, People notes.
