Andrew Walker Reveals Moment with Nikki DeLoach He’ll Never Forget …Even Though He May Want To

There’s no doubt that Andrew Walker and Nikki DeLoach share the kind of chemistry that fans love to see onscreen. That’s why Hallmark keeps casting them together in various movies.

For instance, longtime viewers will be able to tell you that they starred together in “A Dream of Christmas” (2016), “The Perfect Catch” (2017) and “Sweet Autumn” (2020). On top of that, they’re delightful dynamic is why fans were so thrilled to find out that Walker just made a major announcement about the future of the “Curious Caterer Mysteries,” which features the beloved duo.

While the pair surely share plenty of pleasant memories thanks to the fact that they’ve worked together so often over the years, it turns out that there’s one particular moment that Walker has opened up about that’s not exactly the kind of experience you want to relive. However, he and DeLoach apparently do just that by occasionally indulging in a giggle over the incident to this day.

Andrew and Nikki Shared a Hilariously Icky Experience

In case you missed it, Walker recently shared a video on Instagram that showed himself answering 25 questions from fans in honor of the Hallmark Channel’s 25th birthday. While the actor’s wife, Cassandra Troy, posed the inquiries, she mentioned one that asked the star, “What’s one of your most memorable BTS behind-the-scenes moments?”

What do you think his answer was? Maybe it was meeting a costar for the first time. Or perhaps it involved prepping for a special onscreen confession of love. It could have been an unforgettable experience that took place while filming in a far-off destination. …But, no! Walker’s most memorable behind-the-scenes moment was very different than anything we might have imagined. Indeed, during the interview with Troy, Walker first explained, “I mean, it’s only memorable because it was pretty gross.”

Recalling a time when he and DeLoach were working together on one of their “Curious Caterer” movies, he explained that the moment came up when they had to kiss. Although that should have been a romantic and potentially steamy part of the story, the actor admits that it was the exact opposite for one particularly icky reason. It had everything to do with the fact that it was quite chilly at the time. Walker continued by saying, “When we separated [from the kiss], we had a, um… What do you call it?”

This is when Walker hestitated while talking with his wife and struggled to articulate what had happened after he kissed DeLoach. Troy tried to offer her husband some encouragement, telling him to “just say it.” And he did. Walker revealed that when he and DeLoach pulled apart after they kissed, there was an “electrical line of snot” that stretched between them.

The actor also mentioned that DeLoach blamed him for what happened, saying, “She goes, ‘You snotted on me.’ I said, ‘No, you snotted on me.’ And then we realized, yeah, we did it to each other. So that’s, that’s pretty memorable, and we laugh about it today.”

Andrew and Nikki Are Costars, Friends and… Past-Life Siblings?!

Walker and DeLoach are both popular stars on their own, and fans just can’t seem to get enough of them together. That’s why, in February 2023, Entertainment Tonight talked to the pair, and brought up the fact that Hallmark “keep[s] bringing you guys back together.”

“That’s the fans,” DeLoach said in response. She explained that when she appears at conventions, she’s often told by the vast majority people that they adore seeing her in movies with Walker, even calling the pair their favorite duo. On top of that, she’s constantly asked when they’ll be working together again.

Walker backed that up, and even noted that during conventions, he’s been told by “witchy women” — “multiple people that don’t even know each other that have done readings on us” — that he and DeLoach “were brother and sister in a previous life.” Although that might sound a little dubious to some folks, Walker said, “It makes so much sense.”
