Countless fans adore the romantic shows and movies that Hallmark offers. In real life, one of the channel’s stars, Ashley Williams, has her own lasting love story. The actress is married to Neal Dodson and the two have spent 15 years as husband and wife.
In fact, the pair have just celebrated their anniversary and to mark the special occasion, Ashley shared gorgeous photos — and one giggle-worthy pic — from their wedding that you definitely need to see.
Ashley & Neal’s Wedding Photos Are Filled With Love & Laughter
On Friday, May 29, Ashley shared an Instagram post that included photos from the day she and Neal tied the knot. In the caption, she wrote, “Fifteen years ago today. #love”
The very first image shows the couple during the ceremony, and while Neal can be seen smiling at the woman he’s marrying, she seems to be in the middle of a fit of laughter, which seems perfectly in line with her adorable nature.
In other photos, you can see the duo sharing a kiss, posing sweetly together and enjoying their reception with friends and family. One shot even appears to show Ashley’s sister, fellow Hallmark star Kimberly Williams-Paisley, delivering a speech.
In response to the post, actress Sarah Drew left a comment, saying, “Love these pics and love you two so so so much.”
“Happy Anniversary kids!! Love you ❤️,” came from Nikki DeLoach.
Andrew Walker wrote, “Look at you babies!! ❤️”
“The joy!! 😍😍,” said Danica McKellar.
Who Is Ashley’s Husband, Neal Dodson?
GettyAshley isn’t the only member of her family that’s in show business. Along with her sister, fellow Hallmark star Kimberly Williams-Paisley, and brother-in-law, Brad Paisley, Ashley’s husband, Neal, is also an industry pro. He happens to be a film producer.
“After graduating from Carnegie Mellon’s drama program in 2000, Dodson had dreams of becoming an actor. He settled in New York City and did some theater and commercial work before making a move into production,” according to People. “In 2008, he co-founded Before the Door Pictures production company with friends and fellow Carnegie Mellon graduates Zachary Quinto and Corey Moosa. The name comes from one of the first acting exercises in the drama program at the Pittsburgh University.”
In between graduating and forming his production company, Neal met Ashley “in 2003 in the office of an acting coach,” People explains. The two obviously hit it off, and “[t]he producer popped the question on Thanksgiving in 2009,” before “the couple got married in May 2011.” They “expanded their family in October 2014 when their son Gus arrived. He was then joined by brother Odie in May 2017.”
On June 21, 2020, Ashley shared a Father’s Day post dedicated to her husband, writing, “He’s dreamy. He’s also a rockstar dad and we don’t know what we’d do without him. Thanks @nealdodson17 for leading our nomadic family through the trenches with humor, bright ideas and unwavering energy. Every day is a ride and I’m ever grateful. #mascaraundermyeyes #happyfathersday #love”
