With just a few days until the fourth and final season of “The Way Home” premieres on April 19, Hallmark star Chyler Leigh is changing it up. After years moving viewers as Kat Landry in the time-traveling series, Leigh has opted for a major style makeover.
Chyler Leigh Wows in Hair Transformation
On Instagram, Leigh shared a gallery of pictures revealing that she’s left her brunette days behind her, and is now rocking a powerful blonde bob.
In the pictures, she’s wearing a plunging black dress, matching black tights and pointed heels. As for her glam, Leigh looks incredible with a bold black eyeliner and deep pink lips.
“When one story ends, a new one begins,” Leigh wrote in the caption.
She then continued by tagging her beauty team, including her stylist Gabriel Langenbrunner, and hairstylist Gregg Lennon Jr.
From the caption, it seems Leigh is making the best out of “The Way Home” coming to an end. After all, Kat on the show has signature brown hair cut to her shoulders. By cropping her hair just before the premiere, Leigh’s celebrating the end of the show, while setting herself apart from her character.
In the comment section, followers can’t get enough of her transformation. Among the commenters is her “The Way Home” co-star Jordan Doww, who plays young Colton on the series. “OBSESSSSSED,” he wrote.
In addition to commenters loving the new look, many are comparing it to Leigh’s iconic character Lexie Grey in “Grey’s Anatomy,” a show she starred in from 2007 to 2012. “My my Lexie Grey!!! 🫶🏾” wrote one commenter. “I get Mark Sloan,” joked another commenter referring to the late Eric Dane’s character on the show, who was Lexie’s love interest.
‘The Way Home’ Is Getting Ready for a Final Season
HallmarkWhile fans might need a moment to adjust to how incredible Leigh looks after her hair transformation, the fourth season of “The Way Home” is only a few days away.
In it, Leigh’s character Kat will unlock a whole new timeframe in the 1920s as she embarks on a mission to find out what happened to her partner Elliot’s (Evan Williams) mom. “This is why I go back, to find your mom,” Kat tells in Elliot in the teaser.
Like any season of the show, the series will also follow Kat’s daughter Alice (Sadie Laflamme-Snow), her mom Del (Andie MacDowell) and her brother Jacob (Spencer MacPherson).
“New journeys and revelations await the Landry family across generations,” the description of season 4 reads. “Del, Kat, Alice and Elliot should know by now that no matter how hard they try to focus on the future, the past is never gone.”
The synopsis continues, “As more mysteries are unearthed, the Port Haven of the past and the Landry family of generations before might just contain the answers they seek.”
Season 4 of the series will be premiering every week on Hallmark starting on April 19. Episodes will be available to stream on Hallmark+ the next day.
