Janel Parrish’s seven-year marriage to Chris Long is officially over. According to a report by People on May 26, 2026, the Hallmark star settled her divorce from Long days earlier, on May 21, when she filed “an uncontested dissolution of marriage” in the Superior Court of Los Angeles County.
It was a quick turnaround for the former couple, whose separation was first reported by TMZ on April 9. Parrish, 37, confirmed the news the next day, and by late April, the two had filed for divorce. In the meantime, Parrish hard-launched her new relationship with “Dancing With The Stars” pro Sasha Farber and has frequently posted photos and videos of them together in the weeks since.

After initial reports in early April that Parrish and Long had separated, the “Sugarplummed” star confirmed their split in her Instagram Stories on April 10, writing, “Thank you for all the incredibly kind and supportive messages, they’ve truly meant the world. After 10 beautiful years together, including 7 years of marriage, Chris and I made the difficult decision to end our marriage.”
“There is still so much love and respect between us, and I’m deeply grateful for everything we built together,” Parrish continued. “This chapter of my life, and Chris, will always mean so much to me. Thank you all again for the messages of love and support. Xo J.”
Parrish met Long, a chemical engineer, at a Dave & Buster’s in 2016, according to Just Jared. Two years later, in September 2018, Us Magazine published photos from their outdoor wedding ceremony in her native Hawaii.
At the time, she told the outlet, “I think we’re an amazing team. He’s the strongest, kindest person I’ve ever met.”
It’s not clear when Parrish and Long decided to separate. Just before Christmas 2025, she posted that she was recovering from her second surgery for debilitating endometriosis and thanked her husband by writing, “Thankful to my nurse @c_long for being there every step of the way.”

It’s also not clear when Parrish and Farber began dating, but they were spotted holding hands on April 26, days after posting their first video on April 21, with Farber shirtless as they danced the salsa.
The duo likely first met when she was a contestant on DWTS and placed third with pro Valentin Chmerkovskiy in 2014. Farber has been a pro on the show since 2013.
The two seem to be having lots of fun together. Parrish rarely posted pics or videos with Long during her marriage. But since confirming her relationship with Farber, she has regularly shared glimpses into their romance, including a video of them dancing on May 4 when she wrote that “life has been full of joy lately.”
On May 9, she told People that cooking is Farber’s “love language” and added, “He just brings so much love and light and positivity to people in the world. He’s just the best. He’s the sweetest.”
Parrish last starred in March’s “Two for Tee” with “When Calls The Heart” hunk Chris McNally and has posted photos from a film set recently, teasing what’s likely another movie in the works.
