Janel Parrish is happily embracing a new romance — and she isn’t holding back when it comes to praising boyfriend Sasha Farber.
The Hallmark star recently opened up about her relationship with the “Dancing With the Stars” professional dancer after the pair publicly confirmed their romance in late April.
Parrish Is Happy in Her Relationship
Speaking with People at the Gold Gala in Los Angeles on Saturday, May 9, Parrish gushed over Farber, 42, describing him as someone who brings positivity wherever he goes.
“He just brings so much love and light and positivity to people in the world,” Parrish said. “He’s just the best.”
The actress added that Farber has also won her over with thoughtful gestures at home — especially when it comes to food.
“He’s the sweetest,” Parrish shared, revealing that “cooking is his love language.”
And according to the actress, she has been enjoying the benefits firsthand while balancing a busy filming schedule.
“He’s an amazing chef. I literally was just filming a movie every day until 7:30 p.m. and I’d walk in the house and he would have a full spread for me,” she said. “I’m just very, very lucky.”
Farber’s culinary skills apparently extend to just about everything.
“[He] makes everything,” Parrish added. “He introduced me to some Russian food. He does really great seafood, skewers, kebabs, just all of it. He’s so good at cooking. It’s amazing.”
The Couple Went IG Official in April
The couple officially took their relationship public after Farber appeared to hard-launch the romance on Instagram on April 27.
In one post that caught fans’ attention, Farber shared a cozy image from home featuring himself with his two dogs while a brunette woman sat at a piano in the background with her back turned to the camera.
Though he didn’t tag anyone, fans quickly began speculating that the mystery woman was Parrish.
Since then, the pair has grown more comfortable sharing glimpses of their relationship online.
Parrish Had a Sweet Birthday Message for Farber
Just days ago, Parrish celebrated Farber’s birthday with a heartfelt Instagram tribute alongside a carousel of sweet photos of the pair together.
“Happy Birthday to my love @sashafarber1,” she wrote. “You bring joy and light to everyone who meets you. The world is a better place because you exist. Everyone go give him some birthday love because he’s the absolute best. Happy birthday Sasha!!”
Farber responded in the comments with an affectionate reply of his own, writing, “Baby I’m the luckiest.”
The couple has also quietly been posting snapshots of their life together, including videos of the two dancing and candid moments that hint at their growing relationship.
In one recent post, Parrish reflected on her happiness, writing, “Life has been full of joy lately.”

Parrish’s new relationship comes shortly after a major personal change.
In early April, actress and her husband of seven years, Chris Long, ended their marriage.
Parrish and Long tied the knot in 2018 after getting engaged the year before following about a year of dating.
