Some of the “Full House” gang is getting back together! Hallmark hunk John Brotherton has revealed that he’s teaming up with Jodie Sweetin and Marla Sokoloff for a new project.

John Brotherton Reunites With Jodie Sweetin and Marla Sokoloff

It’s been six years since the “Full House” spin-off, “Fuller House,” ended. However, Brotherton has announced fans of the Netflix series are in for a real treat.

On Instagram, the actor posted a photo of him posing with Sweetin and Sokoloff. The three are back together again and working on a new movie, but not all of them will star in it.

Sokoloff shared an Instagram Story confirming she will be behind the scenes, taking on the director role. Brotherton didn’t reveal any details about the movie, including the role he or Sweetin will play in it.

Instead, he kept this caption sweet and simple with a “Fuller House” tease, saying, “So fun being back on set with two of my fullest friends ❤️😉❤️@marlasokoloff @jodiesweetin.” Sokoloff popped up in the comments to write, “Big thump! 👊🏻.”

Melissa Coulier, wife of “Full House” and “Fuller House” star Dave Coulier, left a heart emoji on Brotherton’s social media share.

Sweetin played Stephanie Tanner on both series, while Sokoloff played Stephanie’s bad girl friend, Gia. Brotherton joined “Fuller House” in Season 1 as Matt, a love interest for DJ (Candace Cameron Bure) and an obstacle to her true love, Steve (Scott Weinger).

Sokoloff and Brotherton’s characters ended up together in the “Fuller House” series finale.

Fans jumped into the comments to celebrate the exciting reunion. “Awe !!!! Fuller House was so funny!” said one fan. Another fan spilled, “It’s so great to see that your friendship went beyond the set of Fuller House.”

John Brotherton Brings Hallmark Family Together For Good Cause

When he’s not filming movies like “Christmas on Cherry Lane”, Brotherton is all about giving back through Reach Out WorldWide (ROWW), founded by the late Paul Walker. Brotherton spent a lot of time promoting and working with ROWW during the LA Fires in January 2025.

Earlier this year, Brotherton gathered several of his Hallmark family members for a morning of volunteering for ROWW. Hallmark shared a carousel of photos on Instagram from the special day. Actress Brooke D’Orsay was featured in the mix along with several Hallmark corporate employees.

In the caption, the network explained ROWW’s mission, which is that changing one life can change the world. The organization is dedicated to helping people recover and rebuild from natural disasters. Brotherton got a special shout-out in the caption too, revealing his personal connection to Walker.

“We were especially proud to stand alongside one of our own, John Brotherton, who worked with Paul on Furious 7 and remains committed—together with Paul’s brothers—to carrying this important work forward. In response to last year’s devastating Los Angeles fires, which destroyed 5,900 homes with only eight rebuilt so far, John and his wife Ali partnered with ROWW to create a dignified, compassionate way for displaced families to access essentials ranging from cleaning supplies to clothing and furniture,” read part of the caption.

D’Orsay also received a special thank-you for joining the Hallmark team for the day at the very important event.
