Though many new parents have to navigate sleepless nights with a newborn, real-life Hallmark couple Kevin McGarry and Kayla Wallace have found a “magical” way to get their little one off to dreamland — and likely boost the amount of sleep they’re getting, too.
On May 21, 2026, Wallace posted a photo of herself standing in her slippers next to their baby’s SNOO bassinet while holding a mug of coffee. The “Landman” actress captioned the photo, “Thank you for the safe sleep @happiest_baby 🩵”
All About Kayla Wallace & Kevin McGarry’s High-End, High-Tech Bassinet for Baby
Wallace shared the photo of their bassinet in her Instagram Stories and wrote, “seriously. SO grateful for this magical bassinet.”
The SNOO was developed by pediatrician Dr. Harvey Karp, author of “Happiest Baby on the Block,” and is billed as a “smarter and safer baby bed.” With the push of a button, the bassinet provides white noise and a slow rocking movement to “recreate the womb’s soothing sensations,” per the product website.
The high-tech bassinet retails for $1,695 or can be rented for $159 a month. Happiest Baby says it “adds 1-2 hours of sleep a night with constant calming womb-like motion + sound.”
Fans and friends were thrilled to get a peek at the little nook where McGarry and Wallace’s baby sleeps, and happy to hear they’ve found a positive sleep solution. Karen Kruper, a supporting actress in dozens of Hallmark movies, wrote, “It truly is the safest way to get baby instantly to sleep and you guys worry free nights. 🏆”
“The SNOO is worth every penny,” someone else wrote. “Both of my kids would crash out in it. I’m happy for you. Parenthood is such a gift.”
“LOVED our Snoo,” another fan commented. “Both of my girls were sleeping through the night at 2 months 🩷 sweet dreams!”
Kayla Wallace & Kevin McGarry Announced Their Baby’s Birth on Mother’s Day
Wallace, 32, and McGarry, 40, announced their baby’s birth on Mother’s Day, May 10, but did not announce the newborn’s name, gender, or birth date. However, in that post and in Wallace’s post about the baby’s bassinet, she ended her captions with a blue heart emoji.
For their birth announcement, Wallace featured a photo of their baby’s hand wrapped around mom and dad’s fingers, and wrote, “Mother. The newest part of me that became the best part of me the second we met. Motherhood has been the greatest joy of my life. Happy Mother’s Day 🩵”
GettyFans had been eagerly awaiting news of the baby’s arrival since November, when the couple announced via social media that they were expecting their first child. Wallace periodically gave fans a glimpse of her growing baby bump.
McGarry has played WCTH leading man Nathan Grant since the show’s first season in 2014. Wallace joined the cast in season six as feisty character Fiona Miller, but hasn’t appeared on the show since 2025, due to her role on the Paramount+ series “Landman.”
The couple got engaged in December 2022, during a trip with their dear friends and fellow WCTH stars Erin Krakow and Ben Rosenbaum. In September 2024, McGarry confirmed that he and Wallace had married that summer.
