Marcus Rosner Hangs Out with ‘Beverly Hills, 90210’ Alum Jason Priestley During Special Trip

Along with being able to watch Hallmark star Marcus Rosner on “Sullivan’s Crossing,” fans might have spotted him (either on Instagram or IRL) on a recent trip to New York City. Along with doing some press for his show — and enjoying a “full-circle” moment with his baby boy — the actor also spent time with other entertainment industry figures, like “Beverly Hills, 90210” alum Jason Priestley.

Priestley — whose detective drama series “Private Eyes” can be streamed on Hallmark+ — posed with Rosner as the two enjoyed a trip to New York City to promote their shows on The CW.

In one photo, Rosner and Priestley posed with Roma Roth, who is an executive producer and showrunner of “Sullivan’s Crossing,” as well as producer John Morayniss.

In another pic, Rosner and Priestley both shine as they smile at the camera, proving why they’re so easily able to charm fans.

What Is Marcus Rosner Currently Working On?

Along with managing life as a new father, Rosner has been keeping himself busy with a couple of different projects.

For instance, he’s recently been promoting a film that he wrote and directed, “Emergency.”

“Debuting at Sedona International Film Festival, Rosner’s short film, Emergency, follows an interaction between two young children in a hospital waiting room late at night,” according to Sherwood Park News.

Rosner explained, “It’s through this very innocent and childlike and, I think, beautiful conversation between these two children, this spark of innocence is reignited … It’s sort of semi-biographical because of my own childhood growing up in Edmonton.”

Beyond that, there’s also the role of (heart-wrenching, confusion-sparking, perfectly-scrunched-eyebrow-possessing) Liam on “Sullivan’s Crossing.”

“Liam has a very complicated backstory and he’s a ghost from Maggie’s past. When the whole story is told, people will largely understand that this is a very relatable thing to have in one’s life,” Rosner told Us Weekly. “It is a very necessary thing to work through in order to get to your ultimate love story.”

What Is Jason Priestley Currently Working On?

When it comes to Priestley, he’s seemingly just as busy as Rosner. For instance, fans can watch the star as con man George Graham in The CW’s “Wild Cards.”

When it came to creating his character, Priestley told the New York Post, “[Series creator and executive producer] Michael Konyves and I had a number of discussions about George. But the reality is that I ended up building that character based on a guy who actually conned me about 25 years ago.”

“There was a group of us who got conned by this guy; we got in this real estate investment with him and then he took off with a bunch of the money,” Priestley explained. “So I spent a lot of time writing down all the qualities that he had that made him a good con man — and then I built the character around him.”

On top of that, viewers were surely excited to find out that Priestley would be returning to the screen as Matt Shade in this “Private Eyes” spin-off, “Private Eyes West Coast.”

“Shade (Priestley) and Angie (Sampson) have left behind their P.I. firm and settled into a new life on the West Coast, but their new quiet life is shaken when a night out lands them at the scene of a murder,” according to Deadline. “A woman stands over her dead boyfriend with a bloody steak knife in hand. Believing in her innocence, Shade and Angie dive headfirst back into the high-stakes world of investigation.”

“Over the season, the private eyes juggle the challenges of opening a P.I. firm in a new city. Without their friendly Toronto network of sources, Shade and Angie work to build a new community,” Deadline continues. “From tracking down a missing student in the wilderness of British Columbia to extracting a murder confession from a surfer in Tofino, Shade and Angie prove life on the West Coast is packed with heart-pounding thrills.”
