Sarah Drew & Peter Mooney Look Incredible Walking Red Carpet Together

Sarah Drew and Peter Mooney turned heads at the 2026 Canadian Screen Awards, looking incredible on the red carpet as they represented their Hallmark series “Mistletoe Murders.”

The show’s stars took a break from filming their third season to attend the Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television’s annual awards show, which launched in 2013 to celebrate Canada’s “top talent in the film, television and digital sectors.” Between Mooney’s smart navy suit and Drew’s gorgeous Greta Constantine gown, fans were swooning over the photos and videos posted online.

Sarah Drew Called the Awards Show an ‘Emotional Night’

Drew shared a June 1 post filled with photos of what she called “an absolutely magical night,” noting that “Peter was brilliant as a presenter and also served as photographer extraordinaire- snapping these photos after our glam team glammed us up!”

The “Grey’s Anatomy” alum also thanked their “Mistletoe Murders” hair and makeup team “for coming and taking such great care of us on a weekend after a long week!”

“It was such a beautiful and emotional night,” Drew continued in her caption. “I love Canada. I love Canadians. I love working in Canada and I’m constantly blown away by the incredible artistry and storytelling that happens here. What a night!!”

She and Mooney were on a break from filming the third season of “Mistletoe Murders” in Toronto. On June 2, Toronto Filming tweeted that the shoot is slated to run from May 11 to July 9. The show is expected to return for Hallmark’s Countdown to Christmas programming in late 2026.

Fans Swooned Over Seeing Peter Mooney & Sarah Drew Lift Each Other Up on the Red Carpet

The official “Mistletoe Murders” Instagram account featured a video of Mooney posing on his own for photographers as Drew, standing off to the side, hilariously “hyped him up” with a cat call as someone else shouted “handsome man right there!”

And in another post Drew shared on June 2, she wrote of their characters, “Sam and Emily clean up pretty well… ❤️❤️☺️☺️” and gave a shout out to Mooney “for helping to floof out my dress for the pics!!” In the last pic, Mooney can be seen adorably squatting down on the red carpet to smooth out the bottom of Drew’s dress.

Fans of the series, in which Drew plays a small-town shopkeeper with an increasingly suspicious past who winds up helping Mooney’s detective Sam solve mysterious crimes, were thrilled to see the duo having fun and looking amazing on the red carpet.

After telling Drew she looked “beautiful,” one fan quipped, “Also, Peter – the smolder is strong with this one. 😂👏😍”

“So gorgeous And I absolutely love this series,” someone else chimed in, while another fan called their looks “perfection.”

“Mistletoe Murders” didn’t take home any prizes; screenwriter Ken Cupurus lost out to Jacob Tierney of “Heated Rivalry” in the Best Writing in a Drama Series category and that series also won the Best Original Music for a TV Drama award, over composers Rob Melamed and Ryan McLarnon for “Mistletoe Murders.”

Worth noting: “The Way Home” screenwriter Heather Conkie was also up for the Spotlight Award for Best Writing, but it went to Kayla Lorette of “Wayward,” while Kris Holden-Reid was nominated in the Spotlight Award for Best Performance on the show, too. That award went to Amanda Brugel of “The Handmaid’s Tale.”
