Patti Murin Hilariously Braves Wild Winter Storm in Her Bikini (VIDEO)

What’s a mom to do when cabin fever sets in while her family’s stuck inside during a giant snowstorm? If you’re Broadway and Hallmark star Patti Murin, you strap on your earmuffs, pull on your boots, and run out into the frigid cold in a red bikini!

Murin, who appeared most recently in “Holiday Touchdown: A Bills Love Story,” is one of many Hallmark stars — and millions of Americans — dealing with record-setting snowfalls. She hilariously documented her snow-day-in-a-swimsuit antics on January 25, 2026, posting a video of herself making a giant snow angel in her backyard — yes, in her bikini. In the caption, she wrote, “When you’ve been stuck inside during a blizzard all day and you’re not sure what to do with all of the pent up rage and sadness inside of you…you snow dive.”

Patti Murin Channeled Her ‘Frozen’ Character Anna for Romp in the Snow

Murin lives in New York’s Hudson Valley with her husband, fellow Broadway and Hallmark star Colin Donnell, and their two young daughters. On January 25, she posted a video of herself running through their house in her bikini and right out the back door, jumping into the freshly fallen snow to make a big snow angel.

Murin originated the role of Anna in the Broadway production of “Frozen,” and many fans delighted in seeing her embrace the winter weather like her iconic character. She even had Demi Lovato’s version of “Let It Go” playing in the background.

One wrote, “Only a Frozen cast member would do this 😂😂❤️❤️”

Another fan wrote, “Girl….you played Anna not Elsa 😂😂😂😂” and someone else quipped, “Hardcore Anna energy.”

Others expressed their shock over her frigid snow dive, including frequent Hallmark screenwriter Russell Hainline, who wrote, “my body felt colder just watching this.”

The day after her bikini romp, Murin joked to fans in another video that she was hiding from her kids during another snow day and that they’d had 33 inches of fresh snowfall over the weekend.

Patti Murin Isn’t the Only Hallmark Star Dealing With Wild Winter Weather

Other Hallmark stars have shared how they’re dealing with the wild winter weather that has hit many parts of the U.S. and Canada. On January 27, “Signed, Sealed, Delivered” star Kristin Booth shared a video in her Instagram Stories of herself making a snow angel. But unlike Murin, Booth was fully dressed in winter gear.

That same day, Chelsea Hobbs shared a video in her Stories from the set of “Hope Valley: 1874,” where she walked across the lot shivering in her wardrobe, but wrapped in a winter coat as she pointed out patches of ice on the ground.

Some are dealing with serious power outages and downed trees, especially in the Nashville area. Chyler Leigh of “The Way Home” posted her three-part account of having to leave her house and find shelter with her kids after four frigid days without power.

Meanwhile, “Sister Swap” star Kimberly Williams-Paisley had to temporarily close her nonprofit food pantry, The Store, because snow and ice have made food deliveries impossible.
