Ryan Paevey is acting again, and he admitted in a recent social media post that it’s been pretty crazy.
The Hallmark alum, who starred in the Mr. Darcy movies as well as several other projects for the network, gave fans a peek at the fun he had on a day when he could get away from work for a bit. Everybody thought it looked incredible.
Ryan Paevey Took a Break in a Place He Loves & Had Been Missing
On April 7, Paevey took to Instagram to talk about how crazy his life has been lately. In the video he posted, he explained, “So, if you guys have been keeping up with any of my recent updates, you know, I work a lot, man, like, a lot.”
Paevey immediately added, however, that working so much is “a really good problem to have. Don’t get me wrong.”
While Paevey is grateful to have so much work on his plate again, he admitted that he also doesn’t get much downtime these days. On a day when he was able to take a bit of a break from the film set, he decided to go somewhere “I haven’t been in a really, really long time.”
The actor went surfing in Malibu, more specifically, Point Break. Paevey noted that he hadn’t surfed there in quite some time because “I left Los Angeles a long time ago.”
Paevey showed video footage of him surfing, and while he looked fantastic, he said he was a “pretty so-so surfer.” Even if he feels his skills aren’t all that impressive, he admitted he really likes it, so he keeps doing it.
Fans loved the video.

The Hallmark Alum Has Multiple Projects in the Works
Fans who keep up with Paevey on social media know he loves the ocean and surfs as often as he can. He explained that while he considers himself just a moderately decent surfer, “I really like it.”
He quipped, “Not a bad way to spend a day off.”
In the caption of his post, Paevey shared more about how much he’s been working. “I’ve been back in LA pretty much 5 days a week since last August,” he revealed.
As many fans know, Paevey returned to “General Hospital” and is in a hot storyline there right now. However, that’s not all he’s doing.
Paevey recently teased that he has been in Kentucky filming a new movie, and a few additional details about that project recently surfaced. He’s working with Third Coast Film, and the project also stars Kevin Dillon, Britt Robertson, and Natasha Henstridge.
The actor’s IMDb page also notes a project titled “Shore of Secrets” that is in post-production. Fans are eager to find out more about Paevey’s upcoming projects and are thrilled he’s back to acting again.
