Hallmark fan favorite Sarah Drew has shared some exciting news regarding her show “Mistletoe Murders”. The series has been a huge hit from Season 1, and it’s getting some much-deserved props ahead of Season 3.
Sarah Drew Reveals ‘Mistletoe Murders’ Earns Major Honor
In an Instagram video, Drew gushed over the fact that “Mistletoe Murders” is up for an award at the 2026 Canadian Screen Awards (CSA). Drew was emotional and beyond thrilled to share this amazing news.
“I’m so excited that Mistletoe Murders is in the Top 10 for the Audience Award at the CSAs. It makes me so happy because there’s so much joy on our set. We love making this show so much and we’re so proud of it. I mean, it’s really a total gift to get to work on something that you’re really, really proud of, but you also have the most joyous time ever with such an incredibly amazing family,” she expressed.
Drew also shared how much she loves working in Canada, where Hallmark films many movies and TV series.
“Also, I love working in Canada. I love my Canadian family. I’ve been working in Canada a lot over the last few years, and every time I go, I’m constantly blown away by the joy and the companionship and the camaraderie and the skill, like the incredible skill of Canadian filmmakers and all the people that work to make TV and film in Canada. So I’m so excited. Thank you so much,” Drew gushed.
The Top 10 Award at the CSAs is an award chosen by audience members through voting. In her caption, Drew thanked everyone who had voted so far and encouraged “Mistletoe Murders” fans to keep voting. It makes the show being up for the award even more special, knowing it’s the fans making it happen.
“Mistletoe Murders” fans will find out if the show wins in May. The annual event honoring and celebrating the best of Canada’s film, television, and digital media. Winners will be announced during Canadian Screen Week, running May 27-31 at the CBC Broadcast Centre in Toronto.
