Tamera Mowry-Housley and her husband, Adam Housley, are once again embracing their love for home renovation projects with a new home reno show.
As Hallmark fans know, Mowry-Housley has starred in numerous projects for the network. She also has a role in the upcoming new movie, “All’s Fair in Love & Mahjong,” which premieres on May 9.
In addition, in recent months, Mowry-Housley also hosted Hallmark’s “Baked With Love: Holiday” and starred in the 2025 holiday movie “Tidings for the Season.” The new project that she just revealed isn’t airing on Hallmark, though.
Instead of a new Hallmark project, Mowry-Housley is partnering with her husband of nearly 15 years to do a new home renovation show. It turns out, this type of series isn’t entirely new to them.
As some HGTV fans may remember, the duo briefly worked with HGTV on “The Housleys.” In that special, the couple renovated a home in Napa Valley, California. Now, they’ve purchased a different home in the area, and they’re taking fans along for the adventure as they envision doing massive renovations.
Tia Mowry-Housley & Adam Housley Found a Dream Property
On April 16, Mowry-Housley and her husband debuted episode 1 of their new YouTube series, “The Housley Farm: Building Our Dream Home.”
The family has purchased a property in Napa Valley, and now it’s time to renovate the home. The property, which includes 15 acres of land, fits what the couple believes can be their dream home. Housley noted that they have been looking for just the right place for “years.”
The land includes a pond that covers nearly an acre on its own, as well as a vineyard. They plan to create an area with a barn where they can host events, like charity events, and it’s gorgeous from every view.
Housley shared, “We’ve been dreaming about this for a long time. Getting out of the city, getting into the country, teaching the kids and all of us how to be more sustainable to the land, having chickens and an orchard and vineyard.”
Mowry-Housley admitted in the debut episode of their YouTube series, “I’m so excited but also a little nervous and anxious because I’m a city girl.”
The Home Will Be Almost Completely Redone
The house that the couple aims to transform into their dream home has sat empty since 2018. Housley quipped, “It looks like someone took the ‘Golden Girls’ house, combined it with Pablo Escobar’s house, and airlifted it and set it down on a hilltop in Napa.”
As a result, he said, they’ll be changing nearly everything about the house. The couple did a partial tour of the property and shared some tidbits about what will change. The home has plenty of natural light, which they love. However, they want something far more open in terms of a floor plan, for starters.
The Hallmark star explained how the property, not the house, is what drew them in. “What I love about the property is that it looks gorgeous and picturesque at every season.”
The debut episode gives HGTV and Hallmark fans the basics regarding the home renovation adventure that Mowry-Housley and her family are embarking on in the months ahead. The next episode will give everybody a sense of what they plan to do with the home.
Fans cannot wait to dig into the project and new series.
On Facebook, one fan gushed, “Everyone QUIET! My new show is on!!”
Another fan added, “Oooooh!!! Congratulations and I can’t wait to watch the process!!!”
“I’m excited!! I love home renovations! And how fun to get to see a little piece of your family dynamic,” someone else commented.
