Tyler Hynes has starred in over 20 Hallmark movies. The actor has become a fan favorite in the eight years he’s been making movies for the network. In April, Hynes’ latest movie, “I’ll Be Seeing You,” premieres, marking a first for the actor, who has revealed that this film had serious inspiration behind it.
‘I’ll Be Seeing You’ Is Extra Special to Hynes
Hynes new movie focuses on Amy, whose weekend plans with her grandma go awry when she has to do a work errand. Amy and her grandmother head out on weekend road trip with a little help from an activities director named Mark.
Taking to Instagram, Hynes got candid about why making his new movie meant so much to him. Hynes gave a first look at the movie by posting photos from filming “I’ll Be Seeing You” with Stacey Farber, BJ Harrison, and Christine Ebersole.
In the post, the actor revealed that this film was the first movie he put into development at Hallmark with him as a producer. It turns out, there was a very good reason he picked this film for his producer debut.
Hynes has had a voice in his head for a while regarding the generation that came before him. That voice came from acting with the generation as well as meeting people from that generation on tour.
“I deeply admire the generation that came before me. Not just for their wisdom but for their spirit. And there’s nothing more beautiful then when I hear of families using these movies as multigenerational shared experiences,” he wrote as part of his caption.
The fan favorite went on to add, “So here it is. A title and a song I’ve shared with you for years. A movie inspired by you. Made with you mind. With exactly the people I wished to make it with.”
Hynes declared there are so many stories surrounding the filming of “I’ll Be Seeing You” and hinted he will tell them at some point.

Fans won’t have to wait much longer to see Hynes new film. “I’ll Be Seeing You” premieres on Saturday, April 25.
