Hynes had been absent on social media lately, with his last Instagram post occurring on New Year’s Day. He came back on Feb. 11 — just in time for Valentine’s Day — with a special new motorcycle charm sure to delight Hynies everywhere.
Tyler Hynes Releases Limited Edition Motorcycle Charm Linking Love and Personal Passions
The “Christmas Above the Clouds” star began his post recognizing that he’d “been quiet for a bit, focused on things that hopefully may bring future smiles.” He went on to acknowledge that not everyone looks forward to or loves Valentine’s Day, and that for both groups he wanted to “maybe make it just a little special.”
“On Valentine’s Day only, you’ll find a new charm,” he revealed, unveiling a small gold motorcycle bauble. “My motorcycle has always been that thing I do, just for me, that no matter what is happening, brings me joy. Whatever that is for you, that’s what this charm represents.”
“The thing you love, on this day of love,” Hynes added.
A carousel of photos and videos shows the tiny motorcycle charm bearing the words “Stay Gold” on the side. One of the videos is a clip from the film “The Outsiders,” with star C. Thomas Howell reciting the Robert Frost poem, “Nothing Gold Can Stay.”
Tyler Hynes Shop Preparing Another Surprise on Valentine’s Day
In 2024, Hynes introduced a unique new item to his online store: gold bracelets with a gold half-heart charm. Each features the word “Hynies,” and magnetically connects or “bonds” with other half-heart bracelets to make a whole heart. Since then, he’s released more charms that are dear to his heart.
Just in time for Valentine’s Day 2025, he introduced a “Fur Baby” Charm in the shape of his own dog, Rusty Thanos Achilles Hercules Apollo James. The Candy Cane “Holiday” Charm followed in October.
As if the new charm wasn’t exciting enough, Hynes finished his post with another unexpected surprise.
“My brother also wanted to do what he could to brighten your Day so on FEB 14th 12 PM EST, you’ll find some other thoughtfulness on the site that some of you have been asking for,” the “Three Wise Men and a Baby” star revealed. I guess we know what we’ll be doing at noon on Valentine’s Day: stalking the Tyler Hynes Shop.
