‘Castle Impossible’ Stars Welcome 1st Baby & Say They’re Totally ‘Smitten’ (PHOTOS)

There’s a new king ruling the 500-year-old Chateau dé Lesigny, where Daphne and Ian Figueira (known as the Figs) live and film their hit HGTV show, “Castle Impossible.” On August 26, 2026, the couple announced the arrival of their first child, a baby boy they’ve named Adrian Fig.

Sharing the sweet first photos of baby Adrian, including one of the little guy seemingly winking at his new parents, and gorgeous maternity pics of Daphne, the couple wrote in a social media post, “Love has a whole new meaning to us now. We are SMITTEN 🥰”

The couple, who moved from California to France to renovate and operate the castle they inherited from Daphne’s maternal grandfather, continued, “We feel so loved and supported by everyone in this incredible life experience! Thank you for your kind words and encouragement. We are so blessed to have him happy and healthy in our arms.”

‘Castle Impossible’ Stars Daphne & Ian Fig Say They Still Have Lots of Work to Do on Their Massive Property

In the caption of their baby announcement, the Figs acknowledged that they’re still juggling renovations while adjusting to life with their newborn, writing, “The real question is, do they make baby-sized power tools? Because we’ve got more work to do in the chateau! 😅”

Fans and friends immediately flooded the couple’s post with notes of congratulations, including “100 Day Home Makeover” star Mika Kleinschmidt, who wrote, “❤️❤️👏👏 congratulations and many blessings”

“My 7 year old has been waiting to hear about your baby news for weeks,” one fan told the Figs. “She will be so happy to hear Adrian has arrived 🥰 Congratulations to new Momma and Dadda!! Life is going to be so much more exciting coz the Prince of the Chateau has arrived 🥳🥳”

Another gushed, “Oh my goodness! I needed some good news and your timing was perfect! I’m so glad you are all doing well and little Adrian is perfect!”

The couple also tucked a baby update into their latest YouTube Channel video, with footage of them pushing a stroller along the front walk of their chateau, and walking the beautiful hallways with baby Adrian in his mom’s arms.

As they tended to the forest surrounding their property, Daphne sweetly held her sleeping baby as she spoke with a local wildlife advocate, there with an injured swan her team rescued and released at a lake near the chateau.

The Figs Announced They Were Expecting During Second Season of ‘Castle Impossible’

On an episode of their show that aired on June 2, the Figs announced that they were expecting their first baby, informing Daphne’s grandmother, who moved in with them during the show’s second season, and Anthony Raggett, the master craftsman and friend who often helps them with their renovations.

Then, hours before their season 2 finale aired on July 14, HGTV shared a special video from the Figs, calling it “the reveal you’ve been waiting for.” The couple could be seen outside their stunning castle at night for a gender reveal, waiting for the castle to be lit up in either pink or blue. When it illuminated in blue, Ian shouted, “It’s a boy!” He then spoke directly to Daphne’s belly, beaming, “Hear that buddy? Chateau’s blue for you!”

There’s no word yet on how the other member of their family — and star of the show — feels about little Adrian’s arrival. In July, they told HGTV that their beloved dog Archaea, who’s a Berger Blanc Suisse, could clearly sense their family is growing.

“I feel like she didn’t know [I was pregnant] for a very long time,” Daphne said, “and I feel like recently she’s become a little more protective of me.”

Ian agreed, “That’s been a new thing — she’s been protective of Daphne, but also our cats, for the weirdest reason! I think something maternal has kicked in with Archaea.”

HGTV has not yet revealed whether a third season of “Castle Impossible” has been renewed, but fans can catch watch all episodes on HBO Max and keep tabs on the Figs via their YouTube channel.
