Egypt Sherrod Reveals 2026 Plans After HGTV Cancellation

Egypt Sherrod is manifesting an amazing 2026, with her sights set on big things following the cancellation of HGTV‘s “Married to Real Estate” in 2025. Sherrod shared her goals in a January Instagram post that followed a since-deleted health update and a cryptic New Year’s post that left fans concerned.

Egypt Sherrod Says She’s ‘Locked In’ for 2026

On January 8, Sherrod took to Instagram to share her philosophy about staying “locked in” for the new year.

“People come and go. Vision stays,” she wrote in the caption of the since-deleted post.

Sherrod added, “Everyone is replaceable … But momentum is non-negotiable.”

“This year I’m locked in on disciplined focus and execution,” she added. “On the bus or not, it keeps rolling. 💨💨💨”

On January 3, Sherrod shared a New Year’s message that some fans perhaps read into a little too much.

“A good woman’s patience is often mistaken for tolerance of harm, when in reality it is a form of hope,” she wrote. “She may give chances not because she lacks strength, but because she believes in goodness, growth, communication, and the possibility of repair.”

Sherrod noted, “She carries the weight quietly, adjusting, forgiving, and trying again long after others would have walked away. But every boundary crossed, every repeated disappointment, slowly clarifies something important: love cannot survive where respect is absent.”

“Never push a Proverbs woman. She is covered and clear. New chapters,” she added. “Happy New Years babies!”

Some fans wondered if Sherrod was referencing her husband, Mike Jackson, with many commenting they were “scared” and in “panic mode.”

“Did anybody else go scrolling to see if she and Mike was still together??? That caption scared me for a minute,” one fan noted.

Egypt Sherrod Deleted Post About Freak Accident Following Surgery

On January 6, Sherrod gave a health update that she has since deleted from Instagram.

“Hi family! 🖤 I owe you an update … sorry for the silence,” she wrote in the caption. “I had to step away from the world for the past five weeks to focus fully on healing after surgery. It’s been a scary road, but I’m still standing and still on the mend.”

Sherrod continued, “Now here’s the wild part … just as I finally got back on my feet last week, a literal piece of marble fell on my foot and shattered two of my toes. TWO. The devil is absolutely a liar.”

The former HGTV star pointed to “the bright side” of the unfortunate circumstances. “This still happened in 2025, the year of the snake 🐍, so I’m rebuking all of this energy for 2026, the year of the horse 🐎. No carryover. None,” she wrote.

“And despite two shattered toes, I’m walking! no cast, no boot,” she shared. “So yes, I’m getting back on this horse and riding it all the way out.”

Sherrod added, “This season is about dreams realized, dead weight released, walls and ceilings shattered, and doors kicked wide open. I’m creating opportunities for every woman I can, even if I have to kick in those damn doors with broken toes. CLAIMED!!!!!! And so it is.”
