The new HGTV series, “Roast My Rental,” is hosted by comedian Leslie Jones, with Jasmine Roth leading the design team, and it has thrown some challenges their way. Roth opened up about one home in particular in a short clip shared on Instagram on Friday, August 7.
Jasmine Roth Works Hard on New Project
In the video, Roth shows how they have “all hands on deck to get this house done” and the pressure that comes with the time constraints they face. She offers a glimpse into how they transform the rentals. Despite the challenges, she is confident it will turn out the way she wants. “It’s going to look great, it’s going to look beautiful,” she declared.
Roth shared her thoughts in the caption, writing, “I really don’t know how I get myself into some stuff!? The vibes are positive, but the bags under the eyes tell the real story. This house is kicking my butt!! Catch an all new episode of my show ‘Roast My Rental’ tonight (8/7) at 10pm on @hgtv. You think we got it done?”

Jasmine Roth Embraces Motherhood as a Working Mom
The synopsis for “Roast My Rental,” per IMDb, reads: “Follows comedian Leslie Jones as she crashes America’s worst short-term rentals and, with renovation expert Jasmine Roth, transforms them from one-star disasters into five-star vacation getaways in 72 hours.”
The series premiered on July 24, and the filming has been an interesting time for Roth, who is currently pregnant with her and husband Brett Roth’s third child, due in October. The couple is also parents to daughters Hazel and Darla.
Jasmine is a busy woman, and while she is incredible at her job, she is also passionate about motherhood. “Motherhood has truly been the greatest joy and privilege of my life,” she told People in an interview in May. “I love being a mom, and it’s been really special watching my college-roommate-turned-husband become such an incredible dad.”
She continued, “After having our first baby one month into COVID and our second arriving early and spending time in the NICU while we were also moving to a new state, I’m honestly just hoping for a little less chaos surrounding this birth. But more than anything, we’re so excited to meet this baby and welcome what feels like the final piece of our family…Although I think I may have said that after each child!”
