HGTV star Jenny Marrs is getting some help from her kids when it comes to bringing a little laughter to the weekend.
Marrs shared a hilarious video on Saturday, Aug. 8, featuring her children telling a series of dad jokes that had the family laughing. She captioned the video, “a little nonsense for your weekend 🤣.”
Marrs Couldn’t Contain Her Laugher With Some of the Jokes
The fun began with her son Luke, who posed a classic riddle for his mom.
“What is black and white and goes round and round?” he asked.
“I don’t know what,” Marrs replied.
Luke quickly delivered the punchline: “a penguin in a washing machine.”
The mother and son immediately burst into laughter.
Next, it was Charlotte’s turn to test her mom with a joke.
“Mom why do people in Greece hate waking up at dawn?” she asked.
“Why,” Marrs responded.
“Cuz Dawn is tough on Greece,” Charlotte answered, delivering the pun and prompting more laughter.
Luke then returned with another joke, this time involving a dinosaur.
“What do you call a dinosaur that gets in a wreck?” he asked.
Marrs took a guess, saying, “a bad driver.”
“No,” Luke responded with a smile. “A Tyrannosaurus rex.”
Charlotte followed with another joke for her mom.
“Mom did you hear about the kidnapping at school?” she asked.
“What? No,” Marrs replied.
“It’s okay but he woke up,” Charlotte said.
The final joke came from Jenny’s husband, Dave Marrs, who joined in with a classic dad-joke setup.
“What did the lunchbox say to the refrigerator?” he asked.
The punchline: “Don’t hate me because I’m a little cooler.”
