Joanna Gaines shared a too-cute video that her son Crew recorded and fans can’t get over how sweet he is. The former HGTV star’s little one showed off a pumpkin patch and the adorable crop — four tiny pumpkins!
Joanna Gaines’ Son Crew Filmed a Video of His Pumpkin Garden
On Septemer 2, Gaines took to Instagram to share a video that Crew took of his pumpkins.
“While I was cooking breakfast this morning, Crew asked for my phone so he could surprise me,” she explained in the caption. “I love this video and his excitement over pumpkins in his garden, his Christmas pjs, the special effects and his commentary.”
In the video, Crew takes his mom’s phone and captures his mini adventure. “Okay, mom,” he says, as he announces he’ll take her along to his pumpkin garden.
He exits the house and the video shows his walk to unlatch a gate to get to the garden. “Look at that!” he says. “Boom! Look at that beauty.”
Crew zooms in on the pumpkin patch and back out again, then runs towards the patch and finds the small pumpkins. “Look at that … Isn’t that nice?” he asks.
The video ends with a sweet lineup of his four mini pumpkins.
Joanna Gaines’ Fans Loved Crew’s Video
Fans flooded the comments section to share how sweet Crew’s little video is. “His little hands though,” one person wrote.

In an August 2025 interview with Delish, Gaines shared that her 7-year-old is interested in cooking, just like mom.
“He knows how to work a knife, he knows how to sauté,” she explained. “When I’m cooking, he’s the one that’s just hanging by my hip, wanting to be a part of everything.”
During an August 19 interview on the “Today” show, Gaines shared how Crew is a constant sidekick in the kitchen. “He’s always loved anything mixing, messy. It’s not as efficient, but it’s so fun,” she explained. “He’s so intrigued by it.”
