The Property Brothers Share Fun Throwback Photos in Honor of Their Latest Birthday
On April 28, 1978, the Scott twins were born in Vancouver, British Columbia. Decades later, they’re proudly entertaining audiences all over the world and educating people on home renovation.
To commemorate their special day with the public, the Property Brothers shared some fun throwback photos online.
“48 and feeling great—let’s celebrate! 🎂 Swipe through for some of our favorite bro pics throughout the years,” the Scott twins shared on Instagram today.
The photos featured several adorable photos throughout the brothers’ lives. They even included a childhood photo and one where Jonathan had blonde highlights for good measure.
Fans flooded the comments to wish the brothers well on their special day.
On Drew’s personal Instagram page, the brothers made a goofy Instagram reel. The brothers lip-sync to an audio clip in which one speaker makes fun of the other’s age.
“Happy 48 years and 4 minutes, J!” Drew captioned the post, teasing Jonathan for being the older twin by mere minutes.
The official Drew and Jonathan Instagram page simply posted a photo of the twins as little boys in the 1980s.
Fans can’t wait to see how the brothers celebrated their special day with loved ones.
The Scott Twins Love Spending Time With Family
Without a doubt, the “Property Brothers” stars loved seeing kind birthday wishes from fans. Now, they’re likely spending time with their family to celebrate.
Today, Drew Scott is married to Linda Phan and they share two children. Jonathan Scott is engaged to actress Zooey Deschanel. Fans can’t wait to see them walk down the aisle after their lengthy engagement.
GettyWhile the twins are incredibly close today, their relationship did suffer a bit of a rift at one point during their careers. In an interview with Andy Cohen, there were some hard feelings over pay disparity.
“[Drew] would be there in the beginning, and then he would come back at the end of an episode, and I was there doing the work,” Jonathan explained. “I remember after doing this for 10 years — ‘cause we’ve been on the air now for over 15 years — I remember, I finally said to Drew, ‘Should I maybe get paid three times what you get paid?'”
Thankfully, the Scotts seem to have hammered out their issues and have a healthy working relationship today.
Fans can follow Jonathan and Drew Scott online to keep up with their latest renovation endeavors. New episodes of “Property Brothers: Under Pressure” air on HGTV each Sunday night at 9 p.m.
