HGTV is definitely mixing things up in primetime this week. Between fresh premieres, new episodes, and plenty of comfort-watch reruns, it seems like the network is making sure fans stay booked and busy all week long.
If your watchlist needed a refresh, this might be the week to clear some space on the DVR.
What’s Happening on HGTV This Week
Let’s talk about the big picture first, because there’s a lot going on.
The headline grabber is the debut of “Bachelor Mansion Takeover,” which officially premieres Monday night. The new competition series brings Bachelor Nation alums together to renovate the franchise’s famous mansion, adding a reality-TV twist to HGTV’s usual comfort formula.
Right behind it is another newcomer, “Wild Vacation Rentals,” also premiering Monday. The series spotlights some of the country’s most unique and eye-catching getaway properties; and based on the scheduling, HGTV clearly wants this one on your radar.
Beyond the premieres, the week is stacked with fresh installments of fan favorites. New episodes of “Neighborhood Watch,” “House Hunters,” “House Hunters International,” “My Lottery Dream Home,” and “Home Town” are sprinkled throughout, so there’s no shortage of first-run content.
It seems like HGTV is balancing two goals at once: keep longtime viewers comfortable while giving them just enough new shiny things to stay curious. Mission accomplished.

Why This Schedule Works So Well
All things considered, HGTV is keeping the momentum strong this week. Between two new series being launched and a steady stream of fresh episodes from fan-favorite franchises, the network is clearly in its comfort-plus era. And honestly, it seems like viewers are the real winners here.

That sounds like a great week for watching home renovation shows! I always enjoy seeing what’s new on HGTV.
I have never watched The Bachelor so, I’m not interested in this new show.
