Pop Star Rushed to ER With ‘Medical Emergency’ After Live Show

Halsey was rushed to the hospital shortly after wrapping up her Boston concert. The 31-year-old pop star revealed she suffered a “minor medical emergency” following her performance at the MGM Music Hall at Fenway on November 3.

The “Without Me” hitmaker shared the news directly with fans on Instagram Stories, posting a candid, makeup-free photo with a towel wrapped around her head.

“Boston, I’m gonna be honest with ya,” she wrote, as reported by Rolling Stone. “After the show last night I was in the ER till 6 this morning. Minor medical emergency but I am A-Okay now and ready to rock tonight! But if I’m pacing myself, that’s why.”

Despite the sudden health scare, Halsey reassured fans that she’s recovering well and intends to keep performing. She confirmed that she’ll go ahead with her next concert in Washington, D.C., adding that she’s “ready to rock tonight.”

Singer Praises Medical Team for Swift Care

Halsey expressed her gratitude to the hospital staff who treated her at Massachusetts General Hospital. “Huge shout out to Mass General and Dr Kian, Dr Victoria and my nurses Carolyn and Alicia for being the absolute best team I’ve ever met,” she wrote.

She continued, “And I second that with regard to the imaging staff, transport team, and patient relations. I am so so grateful! Let’s rock tonight!”

The pop star’s resilience and upbeat tone reassured fans that she was recovering well after the unexpected hospital visit.

Earlier Tour Setback Left Fans Disappointed

This isn’t the first time Halsey has run into bumps on the road while touring. In August, she called off a long-planned show in Turkey that had been “months in the making.”

She broke the news with a heartfelt statement to fans, saying, “I’m heartbroken to share that the show in Istanbul won’t be happening. There were logistical limitations that presented themselves recently, making it impossible to move forward in a way that would deliver the show – and the safe, fun experience – you deserve.”

Halsey told fans she plans to make it up to them someday, explaining that refunds would be issued and adding, “I love performing in Turkiye, and it’s very important to me to come back in the future and do it right.”

Halsey’s Health Battles: ‘I’m Lucky to Be Alive’

Halsey has always been candid about her health struggles. Last year, the singer told fans she felt “lucky to be alive,” after hinting she had been diagnosed with lupus and leukemia.

In a heartfelt video shared online, she said, “Long story short, I’m lucky to be alive,” while tagging charities that support people living with both conditions. She added, “I told myself I’m giving myself two more years to be sick. When I’m 30, I’m having a rebirth and I’m not going to be sick. I’m going to look super hot and have lots of energy and get to redo my twenties and thirties.”

Her openness about her health has inspired thousands of fans, who flooded social media with messages of love and encouragement. Many praised her for her honesty and resilience. Despite ongoing challenges, Halsey continues to perform, create, and connect deeply with audiences around the world.
