Lance Bass Gives Adorable Update About Raising Twins With His Husband

Beloved singer, actor, producer, and former *NSYNC bass singer Lance Bass has given an adorable update about raising twins with his husband.

Bass, 47, and Michael Turchin welcomed Alexander and Violet via surrogate on October 13, 2021 (per People), meaning the twins are now almost five years old.

The star, who rose to fame in the 1990s and counts season 7 of “Dancing with the Stars,” “Sabrina the Teenage Witch,” and “Zoolander” among his many screen credits, recently spoke to E! News to tell the world how fatherhood is going and which part of parenting makes him happiest.

Lance Bass Is Having ‘Such a Blast’ With Fatherhood

Lance Bass is in his element as a father — one might say he’s “in sync” with it — and he revealed E! News that being a dad was “such a blast.”

Speaking to E! News correspondent Erin Lim Rhodes on Wednesday, August 12, during the Creator Cam livestream at the “Cocktail Wars” premiere party in New York City, Bass said, “I am loving dad life so much.”

He continued, “As tiring as it is, especially with twins, it makes me so happy to get up in the morning, fix their lunches, fix their breakfast, get them ready for school, drop them off.”

The 47-year-old added that, while he’ll be happy watching them succeed in kindergarten, he also knows it won’t be easy seeing them head out into the big wide world without him and husband Michael Turchin.

Bass said, “We got one more year before life is over over, when they start real kindergarten.”

He went on, saying, “It’s sad to see them grow so quickly, but it also warms my heart to see that they’re thriving and happy kids — and that just makes me happy.”

Those of you who enjoy seeing Bass’ and Turchin’s fatherhood journey should check out their Instagram accounts. Both Bass and Turchin post images with their children fairly regularly — particularly on landmark occasions like Father’s Day and birthdays.

In the meantime, Bass is keeping busy away from his dad responsibilities with his new show: the aforementioned “Cocktail Wars.”

What Is ‘Cocktail Wars’?

Along with his former *NSYNC bandmate Joey Fatone, 49, Lance Bass will host the new show “Cocktail Wars.” The duo will also serve as producers on the series.

Per IMDb, the show “Follows mixologists competing for $10,000 per episode, judged on flavor combinations and technique by Lance Bass, Joey Fatone, celebrities and an expert judge.”

The show will feature a plethora of celebrity judges, including the likes of Rachel Maddow, Lauren Graham, Seth Green, Ramona Singer, Sonja Morgan, Melissa Gorga, Adam Scherr, Peppermint, Nathan Lee Graham, Devon Walker, and Justin Sylvester.

When E! News announced the series in a YouTube video, YouTube users expressed their excitement in the comments.

One user wrote, “I can’t wait! I love other peoples ideas and I feel sure will be getting a lot of that.”

Someone else said, “Oooooh!!!! There was a Netflix show called Drink Masters that they never renewed. I’m excited for this!!!!”

“Cocktail Wars” will air on E! and the first two episodes will premiere on Tuesday, August 18, at 10 p.m. ET/PT (per People). Make sure you check it out!
