‘Selling Sunset’ Cast Undergoes Major Changes Ahead of Season 10

The 9th season of “Selling Sunset” ended in November 2025, and now, ahead of production on season 10, it’s being reported that several cast members won’t be featured. This comes weeks after it was confirmed that former stars Christine Quinn and Heather Rae El Moussa would return to the Netflix series. Plus, fan-favorite Chrishell Stause previously announced her exit.

Insiders told TMZ that the “Selling Sunset” season 10 cast will not feature Chelsea Lazkani, Emma Hernan, Mary Bonnet, or Sandra Vergara. Vergara, the sister of Sofia Vergara, was the most recent addition to the show, having joined for season 9.

Per TMZ’s reporting, the exiting “Selling Sunset” cast members were informed in April that they would not be returning for season 10. Regarding who from the cast will be returning, fans can expect to see Amanza Smith and Bre Tiesi, alongside Quinn and El Moussa.

Production on the new season is reportedly set to begin in the next couple of weeks. However, it may be some time before the show returns, as it usually takes about four months to film new seasons.

For context, production on “Selling Sunset” season 9 began in late 2024. The show then premiered in October 2025 before ending in November of that year. In this case, the series may premiere in early to mid-2027.

Netflix confirmed via a press release in April 2026 that Quinn and El Moussa were returning to “Selling Sunset.” Quinn said in a statement, “This isnโ€™t a rewind, itโ€™s a reintroduction.”

She went on to explain the circumstances of her return. According to her, “[Creator] Adam DiVello and I reconnected after my divorce, and I really appreciate him extending the invitation to come back on. Iโ€™m returning from a very different place, with more perspective, confidence, and clarity.”

El Moussa discussed how her life has evolved since leaving “Selling Sunset.” She explained, “Iโ€™ve become a mom, a wife, a business owner, and I finally feel secure enough in who I am to walk back into that world and not lose myself in it.”

She added, “Iโ€™m calmer, more grounded, less reactive. I know what I want, and Iโ€™m not afraid to say it.” From there, she dished about life with her husband, Tarek El Moussa.

The “Selling Sunset” star said, “Tarek and I have settled into something really beautiful together. Weโ€™re solid, weโ€™re happy. I want people to see the full picture of who I am now. Not just the dramatic moments, but the real life Iโ€™ve built.”

There Have Been Other Exits

Regarding the “Selling Sunset” season 9 cast, Nicole Young appeared in the early episodes. However, according to Cosmopolitan, she was essentially fired from the show, yet stated that she remained with the Oppenheim Group at the time.

As mentioned, Stause exited the show, making the announcement in a November 2025 Bustle interview. She noted in the discussion that leaving the show had been a difficult decision.

However, she noted, “itโ€™s no longer good for my mental health.” It’s also worth noting that Netflix has paused “Selling the OC,” a spin-off of “Selling Sunset,” but plans to resume production in the future.
