Christine Quinn’s Return to ‘Selling Sunset’ Is Facing a Major Delay

After news came out last week about Christine Quinn making a shocking return to “Selling Sunset” for season 10, negotiations have reportedly come to a halt.

According to TMZ, Quinn and the “Selling Sunset” production team have come to a disagreement over the logistics surrounding the show. And while there’s no reason to believe that a compromise won’t be reached, Quinn’s return to the reality show still hangs in the balance.

Per the reports from TMZ, Quinn and Netflix have yet to finalize the deal because of differing opinions on logistics tied to where she’ll live during filming and who would be footing the bill.

“We’re told the main issue is that Christine currently lives full-time in the Dallas area with her son, Christian, after relocating in early 2025 for a fresh start following her divorce,” the source said. Quinn and her ex-husband, Christian Dumontet, first separated in March 2024. Quinn and their son moved to Texas shortly after.

“Meanwhile, ‘Selling Sunset’ shoots in Los Angeles, where producers want her based for 5 to 6 months,” the source continued. “That’s created a major sticking point.”

From the reports, however, it seems a compromise could soon be in the horizon. Among them is Quinn splitting her time between Dallas and L.A. instead of moving back to California full time.

“We’re told Christine is also negotiating for production to cover her travel and accommodations, given the cross-country commitment required, and that’s also part of the ongoing back and forth,” the source said.

As a reminder, Quinn was one of the biggest stars of “Selling Sunset” since season 1 and up until her dramatic exit following the end of season 5. Therefore, having her back will not only excite longtime viewers, but will surely stir up some old drama too.

“Christine is coming back,” a source from Us Weekly revealed on March 13. “[The show was] supposed to start filming and it has been delayed because they are waiting for her to finish negotiations.”

Previously, Quinn had been open about the possibility of coming back. “There are always conversations being had. I don’t know what that looks like,” Quinn told Us Weekly last month. “I’m always open to having fun and turning looks, but it needs to make sense for me, so it’s just a question mark right now.”
