The Netflix special “The Roast of Kevin Hart” streamed live on the popular subscription platform on Sunday, May 10 — and it delivered exactly what you probably expected it to.
Actor and comedian Hart, 46, received approximately three hours of abuse. Targeted areas include his height (obviously), his movie career, his ego, his Philly roots, his family, his relationships, and his past controversies.
Host Shane Gillis was on top form, while Hart also received a torrent of insults from the likes of Chelsea Handler, Pete Davidson, Tony Hinchcliffe, Lizzo, Regina Hall, and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.
It really was a star-studded evening and the photographs from the event confirm that. Let’s take a look at some of the best ones.
Eniko Hart and Kevin Hart
GettyKevin Hart showed up to the red carpet of his roast with his beautiful wife, the model, social media influencer, and fitness enthusiast Eniko Parrish.
Hart was smartly dressed in a black tailored suit, white shirt, and skinny bow tie. He looked surprisingly casual, given he was about to be verbally obliterated by a plethora of high-profile guests. Eniko wore a smart Tom Ford suit with a Judith Leiber bag.
Hendrix Hart and Robert Hart
GettyOther members of Kevin Hart’s immediate family also attended “The Roast of Kevin Hart.” His oldest son Hendrix Hart, 18, and his older brother Robert Hart, 54, spent some time together on the red carpet.
Hendrix wore a white pinstripe suit with a zip jacket, while Robert wore a navy suit. Both Harts were all smiles as they arrived at the roast of their dad and younger brother, respectively.
Shane Gillis
GettyComedian, actor, and podcaster Shane Gillis did a great job of hosting “The Roast of Kevin Hart.”
For the event, he wore a black suit and white shirt, which was casually unbuttoned at the top.
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson
GettyHart’s frequent collaborator and pal Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson made a surprise appearance at his roast, with a big pyrotechnic entrance and a committed set. Actor and former professional wrestler Johnson wore a glossy black shirt, which was open to reveal his famous chiseled and tattooed torso.
Johnson, 54, has worked with Hart on 2016’s “Central Intelligence,” 2017’s “Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle,” 2019’s “Jumanji: The Next Level” and “Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw,” and 2022’s “DC League of Super-Pets.”
Pete Davidson and Draymond Green
GettyComedian, actor, and writer Pete Davidson, 32, and Golden State Warriors power forward Draymond Green, 36, also attended the roast.
Regina Hall

Serena Williams and Venus Williams.
GettySuperstar tennis sisters Serena Williams, 44, and Venus Williams, 45, served up some seriously stylish looks on the red carpet at “The Roast of Kevin Hart.” One might say they aced it.
Tony Hinchcliffe
GettyComedian Tony Hinchcliffe, 41, was one of the evening’s most harsh roasters. He wore all black on the red carpet, with his suit, shirt, and tie all matching.
Chelsea Handler and Tiffany Haddish
GettyComedian, actress, writer, television host, and producer Chelsea Handler, 51, and comedian, author, and actress Tiffany Haddish, 46, posed together prior to the event.
Performers of Short Stature
GettyNaturally, to poke fun at Hart’s height at his roast, a group of performers of short stature were invited. Six of them — wearing various comedic outfits designed to mock Hart — posed for photographs.
Other notable people at the event included Nate Jackson, Jeff Ross, Amanda Kloots, George Wallace, T-Pain, Eric André, and Jennifer Lopez.
Suffice it to say that a good time was had by all.
