Tallulah Willis married musician Justin Acee in a beautiful wedding in Idaho’s Sun Valley on August 8 with her loved ones by her side — Bruce Willis, 71, included.
In photos shared by Vogue, Tallulah and husband Justin stood with the “Pulp Fiction” actor in an intimate moment on their special day.
The heartwarming photo shows Bruce with his arm around Tallulah, as she leans into his shoulder while Justin holds onto the beloved actor’s hand.
The “Sin City” star’s presence at his daughter’s wedding marks a pivotal moment for the revered Hollywood figure after he was diagnosed with aphasia in 2022 and, not long after, frontotemporal dementia (FTD).

After receiving his diagnosis, the Willis family shared a statement in Feb. 2023 to shed light on his FTD symptoms. His family, including ex-wife Demi Moore and their daughters, Tallulah, Rumer, and Scout, as well as his wife, Emma Heming Willis, and their daughters, Mabel and Evelyn, shared that despite being unable to work and communicate as he once could, their adored father “always believed in using his voice in the world to help others, and to raise awareness about important issues both publicly and privately.”
When Bruce’s dementia diagnosis and its progression were first revealed, Tallulah opened up on “The Drew Barrymore Show” about staying close to their inherent bond through the actor’s most loved belongings.
“He is the same, which I think in this regard I’ve learned is the best thing that you can ask for, and what I see [in him] is I see love when I’m with him and it’s my dad and he loves me,” she shared. “And being able to look through those photos … he’s my age living in Hell’s Kitchen, and he’s a total goofball, and he’s an absurd person, and I’m an absurd person, and so there’s a wonderful line of connection.”
Tallulah Willis Talks About Importance of FTD Advocacy
Tallulah also spoke about the importance of bringing awareness to Bruce’s FTD diagnosis, which, according to Alzheimers.gov, is “caused by a group of disorders that gradually damage the brain’s frontal and temporal lobes,” leading to cognitive and behavioral damage.
“On one hand, it’s who we are as a family. But also, it’s really important for us to spread awareness about FTD because there’s not enough information out there,” she told talk show host Drew Barrymore. “If we can take something that we’re struggling with as a family and individually to help other people, to turn it around, to make something beautiful about it — that’s really special for us.”
Although “The Sixth Sense” star and his loved ones have had to adapt to life with dementia, he once shared in an interview with Zoomer that being a father to his five daughters will always be his number one role in life.
“Well, my family and friends are the most significant part of my life, and no film script will ever change that,” he shared in the 2013 interview.
