“Highlander” star Christopher Lambert reportedly suffered a medical emergency at Steel City Con in Pennsylvania on Saturday.
According to TMZ, the 69-year-old “Mortal Kombat” actor was signing autographs at the comic con event when he suddenly collapsed. He was then taken away from the venue by ambulance.
A representative for Lambert confirmed to the outlet that he’s “perfectly okay” and resting at his hotel.

TMZ revealed that Lambert’s medical emergency was caused by a drop in blood sugar brought on by a lack of sleep and food.
Lambert is confirmed to appear at Steel City Con on Sunday, August 9, at 11:30 a.m. following the medical emergency.
On Saturday, Steel City Con issued a statement on its official Facebook page.
“Christopher Lambert had to leave the event due to a personal issue. Return time TBD. Photo op canceled,” the post read.
Last year, Lambert suffered a serious back injury after tripping on stairs at a hotel. TMZ reported at the time that the actor was undergoing physical therapy and recovering.

Meanwhile, fans flooded the comments with messages of support and well-wishes for Lambert.
A fan wrote, “I was getting an autograph from him when it happened. I hope he’s going to be okay.”
Another commented, “We met him earlier. I knew he wasn’t feeling well and had a cold. Prayers he is ok.”
Someone added, “I really hope he’s going to be ok. I’m glad the con acted so fast. That had to have been scary.”
Lambert began his professional acting career in the late 1970s, appearing in French films before landing the role of Tarzan in the 1984 film “Greystoke: The Legend of Tarzan, Lord of the Apes.”
He later starred as Fred in the French thriller “Subway,” earning the César Award for Best Actor for his performance.
Lambert went on to play Connor MacLeod in the 1986 fantasy adventure film “Highlander,” one of his most iconic roles.
“My English wasn’t as good as it is today,” Lambert told The Guardian in 2016, reflecting on the role. “When I met the producers, the way I was speaking was probably a bit shocking. They expected someone who could do mid-Atlantic English.”
He continued, “So I worked with a dialect coach for months: four hours of accents in the morning, then four hours of swordfighting in the afternoon, letting all that stress go.”
Lambert appeared in other films, including “Fortress” (1992), “Mortal Kombat” (1995), “Beowulf” (1999), and “Zoners” (2026). He also served as an executive producer on the movie “Nine Months” (1995) starring Hugh Grant and Julianne Moore.
Meanwhile, a “Highlander” film reboot is reportedly in the works, with Henry Cavill set to take on Lambert’s iconic role as Connor MacLeod. Other cast members include Karen Gillan, Russell Crowe, and Dave Bautista.
