Award-winning actress Jennifer Garner was first married to “Scandal” star Scott Foley from 2000 before divorcing in 2004. Then, she married Ben Affleck in 2005, before their divorce in 2018. As of 2022, she’s been romantically linked to entrepreneur John Miller.
But before all of that, the actress had a high school romance, just like any other teen girl. In a new interview, she reflected on her whirlwind first romance.
Jennifer Garner Was Part of a High School Dream Couple
Jennifer Garner’s relationship with John Miller is taking the internet by storm.
“Jennifer Garner and John Miller’s relationship is built to last, a source tells ET. ‘Jen and John feel like their bond is unbreakable. He’s helped her through so much, and she truly loves him,'” Entertainment Tonight shared in a new Instagram update.
“Jennifer was first romantically linked to the businessman back in 2018 and we’re told, ‘He’s the kind of guy you’d want your sister or best friend to be with — kind, dependable and genuinely solid,'” the outlet continued, noting that Miller is incredibly fond of her children. He’s also supported her co-parenting relationship with her ex-husband, Ben Affleck.
But as Jennifer Garner’s newfound romance unfolds, she’s also reflecting on an old flame.
While speaking with Entertainment Tonight, the “13 Going on 30” star opened up about one of her first major loves.
“My cheeks are getting warm,” Garner confessed. “In high school, I had like a high school sweetheart and we had names in Spanish that were not related to our own names. And everyone in the high school called us by those names. Mine was Constanza. I was part of a couple that was Constanza and Leon.”
“So this Spanish teacher, I would see her years later,” the actress continued. “I’d go back to the high school and she would be like, ‘Constanza and Leon!'”
D’Arcy Carden joked that she wanted to start calling Jennifer Garner “Constanza” from then on.
Fans Buzz About Engagement Rumors After the Actress Wears a Diamond Ring
Many Jennifer Garner fans hoped that the actress was engaged after spotting a beautiful diamond ring on her finger. The rumors stemmed from an Instagram post where she teased her show, “The Five Star Weekend,” was getting a second season.
However, the actress still has yet to confirm the rumors. For now, it appears that she and John Miller are still just dating.
Even so, Jennifer Garner knows she has so much to be thankful for in life.
“So much about my life surprises me,” the actress told Marie Claire UK earlier this year. “That I’m still working, that I’m still alive, that my kids are healthy, that my work relationships – which are more like familial friendships – are still the same as they were 25 or 30 years ago, but richer and deeper and stronger. It’s all a gift. I just feel so grateful to my job for giving me these people.
Even though divorcing Ben Affleck was a challenging chapter in her life, she also expressed gratitude they can successfully co-parent today.
“I’m able to co-parent at this point in time with peace and equanimity and a partnership that I didn’t know I would ever get back to,” Garner told the outlet. “I think it’s important for women to know, when they think, ‘Oh, I’ll never see that, I’ll never have that feeling, I’ll never be friends with this person again’ [that] time is the opportunity. Time is the opportunity to heal. Time is the opportunity to forgive, to move on and to find a new way to be friends.”
