Bravo mastermind Andy Cohen is already stirring the pot for the network’s latest reality TV series. Back in May, Bravo revealed its brand new show, “Wife Swap: The Real Housewives Edition,” which will see iconic housewives ditching their glamorous lifestyles as they “step into another real wife’s shoes.”
The highly anticipated crossover limited series is set to premiere on October 14, and according to Cohen, viewers are in for a surprise.

Andy Cohen is already teasing what’s to come for Bravo’s newest limited series, “Wife Swap: The Real Housewives Edition.” Fans have been eagerly awaiting the new show to be released, as iconic housewives will swap lives with regular and real housewives from across the country.
During a September 16 episode of “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen,” the host had “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” star Angie Katsanevas as a guest after the premiere of the franchise’s sixth season. However, Angie is also one of the fan-favorite housewives who will be starring on the newest limited series, and Cohen could not contain his excitement. In fact, the host made a bold statement about the show.
“I cannot wait for Housewives ‘Wife Swap,” he shared. “This show is blowing me away.”
Cohen kept the finer details under wraps, but his reaction alone has fans buzzing. Viewers are now more eager than ever to watch their favorite Housewives trade designer labels and lavish lifestyles for something far simpler.
‘Wife Swap: The Real Housewives Edition’ Debut Episode Will Feature Angie Katsanevas
GettyRHOSLC’s Angie Katsanevas’ episode of “Wife Swap: The Real Housewives Edition” will be the limited series’ debut when it premieres on October 14. Speaking to Cohen during her WWHL appearance, Katsanevas shared a little about the experience without giving too much away.
“It was an incredible, life-changing experience. I bonded with the children, I bonded with the family, it was amazing. I don’t know what else to say,” she told Cohen.
Katsanevas’ bio for the new series reads that she “loves brand names, beauty and micromanaging her family” and will be swapping “lives with off-the-grid homesteader and former Mormon Lindsay Flake, whose family lives without electricity, running water and rules.”
In a teaser for the new series, Katsanevas is seen arriving at a desolate home, stating, “I’m definitely overdressed and underprepared.”
Though it looked like Katsanevas might be out of her element in a world so different from her own, she revealed to Cohen that the experience turned out to be eye-opening in the best way.
Besides Katsanevas switching lives, the other Housewives who will star in the limited series include “The Real Housewives of Potomac’s” Dr. Wendy Osefo, “The Real Housewives of New Jersey’s” Melissa Gorga, and “The Real Housewives of Orange County’s” Emily Simpson.
