Filming is currently underway for season 7 of “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” after it was put on pause following the tragic passing of Mary Cosby’s son, Robert Cosby Jr., on February 23.
Multiple posts on X showed returning cast members Lisa Barlow, Meredith Marks, Angie Katsanevas, Whitney Rose, Bronwyn Newport, and friend of the cast, Britani Bateman, gathered to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in San Francisco. According to a report from Page Six, the group was also joined by a woman named Ashley Quai, who was seen filming alongside the Salt Lake City cast.
Ashley Quai Seen Filming With the Women of RHOSLC
According to a new report by Page Six, it’s been confirmed that not only are the ladies of “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” filming their seventh season, but they are being joined by a new cast member named Ashley Quai.
Multiple RHOSLC fan accounts on X shared photos of the full season 6 cast back in action and at the San Francisco airport, many dressed in green as they prepared to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day together. According to the X account MCFP (Mary Cosby Fan Page), images showed the group at baggage claim awaiting their luggage, where a woman identified as Ashley Quai could also be spotted among them.
That evening, the women were spotted together stepping off a San Francisco trolley as they made their way to a nearby bar, with cameras following closely behind and inside, per another X post.
In another post on X, Barlow and Marks were seen consoling a visibly emotional Quai, who appeared to be wearing a wig, as cameras filmed the trio.
What to Know About Quai
Page Six reported that Quai is well acquainted with many of the women of RHOSLC, particularly Whitney Rose. Quai was previously the sister-in-law of Rose’s late best friend, Shari Quai, who died of cancer in 2023.
According to her Instagram account, she describes herself as “The kids call me CoCo. Everyone else calls me Quaī. Harley Rider. Hat lover. Travel addict.”
Quai, who prefers to go by her last name, is 44 and has been married to her husband since September 2024. In an Instagram post, she celebrated the couple’s first wedding anniversary, sharing photos of their Las Vegas nuptials.
She also has a 23-year-old daughter named Zariah from a previous relationship. Looking at her Instagram, the mother-daughter duo looks extremely close and has traveled all over the world together, including going to Thailand, Korea, and Japan.
It remains unclear whether Quai will join the new season as a full-time cast member or appear as a friend of the women. Notably, Mary Cosby, who is part of season 7, was not present during the cast’s trip to San Francisco following the death of her son, Robert Cosby Jr., on Feb. 23. It is also unclear when she will return to filming.
