“The Real Housewives of Potomac” is returning for its 10th season on Bravo. Of course, it features many of the fan favorites, including Gizelle Bryant. However, this season will also see the return of Monique Samuels. Now, Bryant is opening up about having her back on the show after several years and giving an update on Karen Huger.
Recently, Bryant interviewed with Entertainment Tonight to discuss the new season of “Real Housewives of Potomac.” Regarding her reaction to Samuels’ big return to the show, she said, “I was like, ‘What? Who said what?'”
Bryant continued, “But Ashley kind of warmed me into it because Ashley and her had been communicating throughout the years. Monique has been gone for five seasons, and she’s been through a lot.”
She added, “She’s been divorced now, and she has moved and doesn’t live in Potomac anymore. I don’t know how many homes she has now, but it’s not four. So, she’s been through a lot, and I was actually happy to just connect with her and see where her head is.”
The interviewer, Brice Sander, then asked if she’s a “changed Monique,” leading Bryant to respond, “That’s what she says.”
Bryant Gave an Update on Huger
During the interview, Bryant also provided an update on Huger. Notably, the “Real Housewives of Potomac” star was released from jail in September after serving six months for her fourth DUI. Season 10 of the show will mark the first time she hasn’t been an official cast member.
Bryant said in the Entertainment Tonight interview, “I was in communication with her via a friend of hers and Ray. I’ve spoken to her since she’s been out, and I’m just happy to have my girl out here in the wild, free.”
Sander then asked if we may see Huger back for season 11 of “The Real Housewives of Potomac.” Bryant responded, “I pray. Yeah, I hope so.”
‘Real Housewives of Potomac’ Returns October 5
Bravo released the trailer for season 10 of “The Real Housewives of Potomac” on August 28. In addition to Bryant and Samuels, it includes Ashley Darby, Wendy Osefo, Stacey Rusch, and Keiarna Stewart. The season will also include newbies Tia Glover and Angel Massie. Jassi Rideaux will also be a friend of the show.
Regarding Huger, the network recently released the first six minutes of the season premiere. It includes footage of her being released from jail, which means she will be featured in some capacity.
