Things seem to be going well between Charlie Sheen and his ex-wife, Denise Richards. In fact, the “Two and a Half Men” actor and “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” alum have spent time together recently with their daughter, Lola (20), and posed for a pic to mark the moment.
Charlie took to Instagram on Wednesday, March 25, and posted a photo of himself smiling while Lola, who is standing beside him, snaps a pic in a mirror. On his other side, Denise stands close while Charlie has his arm held loosely around her waist.
In the caption of his post, Charlie referred to the television in the background, writing, “[G]uess I had to get off that thing behind me, to reconnect with what’s around me.”
He also added a bit of text to the image, saying, “[A]wesome day with the girls.”
In turn, Lola left a comment on the post, writing, “Awe dad!!! I love you so much, today was so special to me 🥹❤️ and I love this photo.”

People explained that “[w]hen Denise Richards met Charlie Sheen in 2001, he was the new star of Spin City with a bad boy reputation and she was the aquamarine-eyed Bond Girl from the 1999 film, The World Is Not Enough.”
“Everyone told me not to go out with him, but I didn’t want to judge him based on the tabloids,” she told People in February 2025. “I judged him as the man I met. I said ‘Well, unless he murdered someone, I can’t judge him for the past.’”
The two got married a year later — yet three years after saying “I do,” they split up. While People notes that what followed included “a barrage of headlines — everything from Sheen’s drug relapse to a messy custody battle,” Denise said, “It was a rollercoaster, more than people even know.”
Although it may have taken some time, Charlie and Denise are keeping things friendly nowadays, which is surely ideal for everyone’s sake.
