Bravo has another hit on its hands with “The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th” featuring Real Housewives stars taking a road trip to mark the 20th anniversary of the franchise. The show focuses on seven of the franchise’s standout stars as they visit various Real Housewives cities. Lisa Barlow, Gizelle Bryant, Luann de Lesseps, Teresa Giudice, Vicki Gunvalson, Kyle Richards, and Porsha Williams are the main cast, but a slew of past and present stars are also thrown in the mix, including soap legend Eileen Davidson.
Soap Icon Eileen Davidson Gets Down in ‘The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip’ Appearance
The “Days of Our Lives” alum used Instagram to tease her upcoming appearance. Davidson joins several of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” cast members, like Sutton Stracke and Crystal Kung Minkoff, at Richards’ white party in the next “RHUGT” episode.
In a video, Davidson shows off her impressive dance moves for a hot second. Looking fabulous as ever, Davidson literally gets down on the dance floor and even shocks Stracke with how low she gets with her moves.
“How in God’s name did my knees do that? Tonight #rhugt @bravotv,” read the caption on “The Young and the Restless” star’s video.
Fans were impressed with Davidson calling her a “diva,” “queen,” and “icon.” Several fans left fire and red heart emojis to react to her moves.
“I’m so impressed! Not sure I could go so low , I once could, but now?!?🩷 😂” said a fan. Another fan chimed in to say, “Hysterical and beautiful 😍😍,” while another fan wrote, “Awesome and always stunning.”
Other fans expressed their hopes that Davidson would return to “RHOBH” someday. The actress was a diamond holder for Seasons 5 through 7 and then made guest appearances in Season 8 and Season 10.
Is Eileen Davidson Returning to ‘RHOBH’?
There are constant rumors that Davidson may be returning to reality TV. However, her appearance on “RHUGT” does not mean she is headed back to “RHOBH.” In fact, Season 16 began filming this month, and Davidson’s name isn’t in the mix, but Bravo star Tracy Tutor has been confirmed as a new cast member.
Davidson stopped by the Soapy podcast last spring to talk with “The Bold and the Beautiful” star Rebecca Budig and “Days of Our Lives” star Greg Rikaart. She got brutally honest about her time on “RHOBH” and whether she would ever come back as a diamond holder.
“Listen, I learned a long time ago not to say ‘never,’ but I don’t see it. They asked me to come back for a few last year, but the money and the whole thing just wasn’t worth the emotional thing,” she expressed.
Davidson has no regrets about her time on the Bravo show and shared that it was an interesting experience. She also admitted it wasn’t something she was cut out for.
“I’m not cut out for it necessarily. I learned so many things. I learned so many things about myself and so many things about human nature,” she said, adding, “It was so terrifying all the time, but also fun and crazy and completely outside of my comfort zone.”
The actress may no longer be on reality TV, but fans can still catch her popping up in Genoa City as Ashley Abbott on “The Young and the Restless.” Davidson has been playing Ashley for 44 years and has no plans to stop, even though she isn’t on the canvas as much these days.
Make sure to tune into “RHUGT” on Sundays at 9/8c on Bravo to see Davidson show off her impressive dance skills.
