RHOC’s Emily Simpson & Gina Kirschenheiter Will Not Be Part of RHUGT: Roaring 20th
Getty“The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th” will celebrate 20 years since Bravo first aired “The Real Housewives of Orange County” in 2006, the franchise’s first installment, which paved the way for spinoffs in cities like New York City, Atlanta, Beverly Hills, Salt Lake City, Potomac, and beyond.
While attending the annual Elton John AIDS Foundation Academy Awards Viewing Party on March 15, RHOC stars Emily Simpson and Gina Kirschenheiter surprisngly shared that they were not asked to make special appearances in the new season, surprising fans given their long-standing history with the franchise.
“We were not invited to that,” Simpson shared on the red carpet, adding, “We did get invited to this, we are here.” When asked if the women had “any hard feelings” about not being asked to join the milestone season, they both said, “No.”
“No, honestly, even though we’ve been on [RHOC] for eight years, you have to realize that we’re still at the bottom of the totem pole,” Simpson shared.
While both women joined RHOC later in its run, making their debut in season 13, some fans may still be disappointed by their absence. However, with the franchise spanning two decades, the season has a deep history of iconic Housewives to pull from.
Simpson and Kirschenheiter will appear in the upcoming 20th season of RHOC, with photos recently capturing them filming with the ladies in Las Vegas.
