“The Real Housewives of Orange County” star Gina Kirschenheiter is still soaking in the joy of her recent engagement to longtime boyfriend Travis Mullen. The couple, who got engaged on New Year’s Eve last year, shared heartwarming photos of their magical day, which took place in Big Bear, California, during a family getaway.
But as fans wait to hear the Bravo star’s wedding plans, including a date, location, and possibly even which Housewife may be standing as a bridesmaid, Kirschenheiter is still in full fiancée bliss with no rush to walk down the aisle.
Gina Kirschenheiter Shares Surprising Wedding Update
GettyAfter more than six years together, Travis Mullen finally put a ring on Gina Kirschenheiter’s finger, but much like their long-awaited engagement, fans may have to wait a little longer to see the Bravo star walk down the aisle in white.
Sharing a much-needed wedding planning update with The Daily Dish since getting engaged at the end of last year, Kirschenheiter said, “You know what? I feel like I am enjoying this and don’t feel a sense of urgency.”
The reality star added that she and Mullen are savoring their new chapter as fiancés and aren’t in any hurry for wedding bells.
“I really feel like, you know, I found the right person and the right partner for me that I wanna be like my forever person, you know? And so, I don’t wanna rush it. Like, I want to enjoy it. I am really enjoying being in this lovey dovey, in my engagement era, you know?” Kirschenheiter shared.
The RHOC star noted that her fiancé agrees there’s no rush to get married and even teased when they may finally start with the grueling task that is wedding planning.
“I wanna take a beat, and I want to enjoy it. So me and Travis basically said, like, at least for the next six months, I’m not even gonna think about what I want wedding planning, none of it,” she said.
Kirschenheiter Reveals if Her Ex-Husband Will Be at Her Wedding

The RHOC star shares her children, Nick, Sienna, and Luca, with her ex-husband, Matt Kirschenheiter. According to Bravo, the former couple wed in 2010 and separated eight years later, with their split showcased on RHOC. Though it was a tough breakup for the reality star, she and Matt have since built a loving and supportive relationship. In 2024, Matt married Britt Kirschenheiter, who has also appeared on the show.
As for Mullen, he shares his kids, Presley, Bennett, and Joey, with his ex-wife, Meghan Mullen. The former couple has been in a bitter custody battle, per Us Weekly.
Speaking with The Daily Dish, Kirschenheiter shared that Matt and Britt will be attending her upcoming wedding to Mullen. In fact, they were among the first people she and Mullen told about their engagement.
“Matt and Britt, they were like, one of the first people that we told, and they are ready, like, they will absolutely be at our wedding. We are family, so absolutely,” she shared.
However, it’s unclear which of her RHOC co-stars will also be involved or invited to her big day.
