Todd Tucker doesn’t seem to be letting his upcoming divorce with “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Kandi Burruss get him down. The 52-year-old has declared, “Live, Love, Laugh!” in a recent Instagram post he shared from his vacation. He also reminded his followers, “We only get one chance.”
Todd announced he was taking a vacation shortly after he revealed the heartbreaking loss of a close friend named Ramon. Todd announced the devastating blow in a post while simultaneously mourning the loss of his mom, Sharon, who passed away from a stroke in December 2014, just 8 months after watching her son tie the knot with the “No Scrubs” songwriter.
Two days later, Todd announced that another friend, Sebastian, “knew I was going through a tough time and offered me a change of scenery.” Todd shared the message from a plan as he headed to vacation.
Todd Is In New York
Now, Todd is back in New York City, returning to what he calls “Daddy daycare” mode. “Alright y’all, this is Daddy daycare, New York version! We listenin’ to ‘Soda Pop!’ he told his fans, before joking that his two kids, Ace and Blaze, “aren’t used to this life out here” because of the cold in New York. “Have a good day y’all. We out,” Todd signed off. He then shared some cute snaps of his kids eating breakfast.
Kandi’s Christmas Plans With Todd
Bravo says Kandi revealed during a recent Amazon Live stream that despite the impending divorce, she and Todd plan on spending Christmas together with their kids. “Y’all already know I’m going through a divorce, but we have decided that we’re still gonna do Christmas together, even though we have all this mess going on right now,” she said, before specifying, “We are spending Christmas in New York. The kids are super excited.”
The Bravo star also answered a fan question about what’s on her Christmas list, saying, “I haven’t really thought about anything to get myself. I’m always thinking about what I’m gonna get everybody else. I have no clue.”
The announcement that she’s spending Christmas with Todd comes shortly after Todd filed filed to request primary custody of his and Kandi’s two kids on Wednesday, November 26.
Todd’s documents also raised issues about his and Kandi’s prenup, with Todd questioning its enforceability due to claims of “pressure.”
