Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker didn’t let their in-progress divorce get in the way of having a united family Christmas. The “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star and her husband of 11 years smiled while posing for a Christmas Day picture with the two school-aged kids they share, Ace and Blaze. Also in the snap was Kandi’s 23-year-old daughter, Riley Burruss, who stars on Bravo’s “Next Gen NYC.” Todd’s older daughter, Kaela, was also present. The girls coordinated with a Hello Kitty theme. Kandi and Riley matched in white jumpsuits while Kaela rocked a pink one, and 6-year-old Blaze sported a Hello Kitty t-shirt.
Kandi wished everyone a Merry Christmas in the caption, and said she’s “praying that everyone is enjoying their Christmas.”
Fans Praised Todd & Kandi for Coming Together On Christmas
Fans filled the comments of the photo, which Kandi and Todd both posted on their respective Instagram pages, with supportive comments and praise for their commitment to coparenting. One fan wrote, “This is what I love to see! Parents putting their differences aside and putting the kids first! Been there and done that. Kandi is THE REAL MVP!”
Another chimed in, “If you don’t understand what this photo means or come from a two parent household please don’t say nothing negative,” to which another poster agreed, “The kids come first.”
Kandi previously gave People a statement on the divorce in which she emphasized the importance of coparenting with Todd. She said, “This is a difficult and emotional time, but my focus remains on protecting my peace, being the best mother I can be, and co-parenting with love and respect.”
A few weeks before Christmas, Kandi and Todd both attended a birthday party for Blaze.
Kandi Posted a Glamorous Shot the Day After Christmas
One December 26, Kandi wowed in a festive photo in which she posed in front of a Christmas tree while rocking a fabulous fur coat. Knee-length patent leather boots completed her look.
“Looking refreshed and happy,” observed one fan. Another called her “drop dead gorgeous.”
Kandi shared the shot via her own personal Instagram page, as well as the official page for her girl group Xscape.
Kandi founded Xscape around 25 years ago with high school classmates Tameka “Tiny” Harris, Tamera Coggins, and sisters LaTocha and Tamika Scott. Tamera departed the group shortly after its creation, in 1993.
The group was then a quartet for over 20 years, before the departure of LaTocha, who left to pursue a solo gospel career in 2022.
Kandi most recently addressed the split in 2025, telling Vibe the idea that LaTocha was kicked out was “a little untrue.” The “Bills, Bills Bills” songwriter went on, “But I do think there was some issues, some decisions on her part that made it to where we ain’t doing nothing. You know what I mean? It’s like, you said you didn’t want to do no shows with us. We just continued doing what we supposed to be doing and I think the stuff that’s going on with the family is what made it hard to rekindle anything else.”
