Alexis Bellino has spent a good chunk of this week returning to her home state of Missouri, with her new husband, John Janssen, in tow. The “Real Housewives of Orange County” alum traveled back to her roots, beginning on Oct. 16, 2025, to spend some time with her family.
Alexis shared the details of her trip in a carousel of photos on Instagram that same day.
Alexis Bellino Returns Home to Missouri With Her New Husband
BravoThe reality star first began documenting her trip in her Instagram Stories, which Bravo’s Daily Dish captured. She and John arrived in Missouri, and then said in a video posted to her story. “Headed to the farm! Get ready. Yep, this is where we are.” They then drove up a dirt road, with Alexis captioning the video, “Back to my roots!” She was then happy to show her followers what being home in Missouri entailed.
Alexis then took to Instagram to share a carousel of snaps, captioning it,
“Back to my #Missouri roots!! First 3 days were the family farm and Lake of Ozarks! The entire family gives their blessing to Johnny and me!!! We visited our family cemetery and sweet momma’ grave, saw the fields and combines, ate amazing home cooking!!! Now off to Hannibal Mo for my 30th High School reunion! That’ll be some fun photos to share with all my high school gals!!! #farmgirl #rip #penelope Love you my family!!!!!!!”
Alexis also had an opportunity to visit her family graveyard, where her mother, Penelope Frazee, is laid to rest. She posted a photo of herself with two family members holding hands near her mother’s grave.
“Johnny got to say hi to momma,” she wrote in the caption of the post, along with a heart hands emoji. Alexis has previously shared that she and her husband first met right after her mother’s passing in August 2023.
