“The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” is currently in its 15th season. Overall, this has been a well-received outing from the RHOBH cast; however, there has been some criticism, including from actress Sarah Michelle Gellar. Now, Sutton Stracke is responding following Kyle Richards sharing her thoughts.
In additon to Stracke and Richards, RHOBH season 15 stars returning fan-favorites Erika Jayne, Dorit Kemsely, and Bozoma Saint John. Amanda Frances and Rachel Zoe are new cast members for the season. Additionally, Jennifer Tilly and Kathy Hilton appear as friends of the show.
Sutton Stracke Playfully Responds To Sarah Michelle Gellar’s RHOBH Comments
GettyStracke recently appeared on Dear Media’s “Shenanigans with Scheana Shay” podcast to promote RHOBH. While there, Shay mentioned Gellar’s recent comments about the show, noting that the actress had called it boring.
Stracke responded, “You know, there were some ‘Buffy’ episodes I thought were boring. So whatever, Sarah.” After that, the RHOBH star became serious.
According to her, “It has to come in waves. Like, we can’t have tumultuous seasons. We would be exhausted. It’s just different this season. It’s just a different season.” After that, she stated that they all “take pride” in the show.
This then led Shay to note that Bravo fans are conditioned to expect “a certain level of drama.” She added, “How about we see an episode of women supporting women?”
In the end, Stracke stated that the RHOBH cast was “damned if they do, damned if they don’t,” as fans claim to hate drama but also say they don’t enjoy seeing the ladies shop.
Additionally, TMZ recently asked Richards how she felt about Gellar’s comments. She said, “You know, I mean, it didn’t feel that to me when I was doing it. I can tell you that much.” Richards also stated that reality television is “a different beast” than scripted content.
She Recently Teased The Season 15 Reunion
The “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” cast filmed the season 15 reunion in March 2026, with Bravo sharing the official seating chart on social media. More recently, Stracke teased the reunion with US Weekly, stating that she wasn’t as involved with the drama this time around.
She stated, “I was not in the hot seat this year. That was kind of fun, to not be so stressed out for the reunion.”
From there, she discussed what happened between Kemsley and Richards. Stracke said, “Well, they made it out alive. Like, everybody that’s been watching this show, it’s been hard for me to watch their relationship. It’s never fun to watch anybody’s relationship go through this.”
