The premiere of “Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test” season 4 aired last week on September 25, and if you watched, you know that Brittany Cartwright was the first to go home.
During a grueling task where contestants had to carry heavy containers while running to the finish line, the “Vanderpump Rules” star struggled to keep up.
She told Directing Staff, Jovon “Q” Quarles, that she was unable to carry on and self-disqualified. “I knew I was going to be first. So embarrassing,” Cartwright told the cameras after quitting.
Eva Marcille Faces an Underwater Crisis
FoxEarly on the second day, the group is summoned by the staff. They’re told that they will work in pairs for the next task, but first, they have to walk up the stairs of a steep dam. Already, Teresa Giudice is gasping for air. “You gotta keep going,” her daughter, Gia Giudice, encourages.
Q and Rudy Reyes demonstrate the next task, which is simulating an aircraft crash that ends up in the water. The group has to hold their breath underwater for 20 seconds, wait for a signal, and then swim out of the designated exit point.
Jussie Smollett and Eva Marcille are the first to go. Marcille is already starting to panic, but DS Mark Billingham urges her to calm down.
After the two are submerged, they make it out, but Marcille starts to struggle in the water. Reyes has to jump in and save her, as she is unconscious for a few seconds.
She eventually comes to and tries her best to compose herself. Despite Marcille exiting from the correct door, she and Smollett fail the task because he went out the back instead.
Teresa Panics Underwater
After several contestants pass the underwater challenge, Teresa and Gia are next. The “Real Housewives of New Jersey” OG says she’s not a great swimmer and doesn’t do well in the water.
Even before they’re submerged, Teresa starts panicking and immediately ejects herself from the water. Gia comforts her, and Jason Fox says to Teresa, “You’ve come on the course with your carer.” He points out that as long as Gia is here, Teresa will be taken care of. “You need to start taking control of yourself. You can’t always rely on her,” he tells her.
The ‘Special Forces’ Season 4 Cast Fight Each Other
FoxOne of the “Special Forces” tasks in each season is a boxing match that pits the contestants against each other, and the first to fight in this episode is Shawn Johnson and Brianna LaPaglia.
Although Johnson is smaller than LaPaglia, she was also an Olympic gymnast, but the podcaster quickly overtakes her and gives her a bloody nose. “I just feel bad,” LaPaglia cries afterward.
When it comes time for Gia to battle Christie Pearce Rampone, Teresa voluntarily quits. “I can’t see you fight,” she tells her daughter.
Through her tears, Gia fights Rampone as best as she can, but ultimately loses to the former soccer player.
One Player Gets Sent Home
Marcille has had a tough time on “Special Forces” by panicking in multiple situations. Because of that, the DS believes it’s not a safe environment for her.
After agreeing that she should leave, Billingham tells her, “I’ve watched you close … Physically and mentally, and for your safety, I don’t believe it’s for you. On that note, I’m going to take your armband. Do you understand what I’m telling you?”
As Marcille’s eyes well up with tears, she tells him, “Yes, staff.” The former “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star is now the third “Special Forces” cast member to go home.
