The routines and songs for movie week on series 23 of ‘Strictly Come Dancing‘ have been revealed.
Following the elimination of entrepreneur Thomas Skinner and his professional dance partner Amy Dowden, there are 14 couples remaining on the show. This week they’ll be performing dance routines inspired by famous movies in the hope of progressing to week 4.
It’s a yearly tradition of the show — and one fans look forward to immensely — so it was hugely exciting when a video on the official ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ Instagram page gave away which dances the couples will be doing, what movies their routines will be inspired by, and which songs they’ll be dancing to.
Everything From ‘The Great Gatsby’ to ‘Barbie’

Then it was the reveal that former soccer player Jimmy Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink and his partner Lauren Oakley will be performing this series’ first rumba to Billie Eilish’s ‘No Time to Die’ from the 2021 James Bond movie of the same name.
From ‘Mary Poppins’ to ‘Shrek’

Reality star Amber Davies and her partner Nikita Kuzmin were then revealed to be performing an American smooth to the show tune ‘Sixteen Going on Seventeen’ from the 1965 musical drama ‘The Sound of Music.’
