“The Bold and the Beautiful” star Jacqueline MacInnes Wood has had enough fake news surrounding her fifth pregnancy.
Wood, 38, recently gave birth to a healthy boy, Talon. And while she’s been keeping a low profile lately, the soap star makes it clear that she’s not tolerating “clickbait stories” about her and her family.
In her weekly newsletter, the Steffy Forrester portrayer shared her latest life update, nearly seven months after announcing she’s expecting baby number 5.
“Hi all! I hope this message finds you well. I’m sending the biggest virtual hugs to each of you,” the actress wrote. “So many of you have reached out wondering where I’ve been and why I stepped away from social media for a bit, so I wanted to take a moment to share from the heart.”

In the same post, Wood explains her decision to take a step back from social media. “The Bold and the Beautiful” star revealed she had a “digital detox” to “fully lean into mom life.”
“I wanted to soak in the beauty of pregnancy without the outside noise. In a world that often feels overstimulated—with so much aggression, division, and fear even showing up in our feeds—I felt it was more important than ever to protect my peace.”
Wood added that the “algorithms were shifting,” which affected her energy. Not to mention, she was on a busy schedule filming heavy storylines for “The Bold and the Beautiful” while pregnant.
“My heart just knew: it was time to log off and lean into what really matters,” she noted.

Wood also addressed wild rumors surrounding her fifth pregnancy. “The Bold and the Beautiful” star admitted she’s aware of those speculations, and urged her fans not to believe everything they see online.
“So let me gently clear the air: some of the clickbait stories were not rooted in truth,” Wood reiterated. “Not everything you see on the internet is real—it’s a good reminder for all of us to put on our critical-thinking caps and question narratives.”
The mom of five also set the record straight about her newest bundle of joy. Before her official announcement, rumors swirled that she had finally welcomed a daughter, with some even speculating on a name.
“For the record, we have a beautiful, healthy baby boy, everything has been wonderful, and the stories that circulated over the last few months are not true.”
“The Bold and the Beautiful” star confirmed that she had “a peaceful home birth” surrounded by her husband, Elan Ruspoli, and her four sons: Rise, Lenix, Brando, and Valor James.
